I’m grateful to him as he stopped us being a clown show and helped get us promoted. He spent money but unfortunately he didn’t get the best return from his DOF in terms of premier league quality. Though we’ll be relegated, we’re in a much better state than when he bought us.
Stuart Webber is a shoe in as our new DOF. Lifelong Leeds fan, today getting panned for saying the women’s game is of no interest to him because it is ****e. A bit of a National Front past and it should take the heat away from the impending change in divisions

Not bothered about any signings he makes he's got my vote for his comment on the over hyped, over covered and under performing women's super league
I wonder how many fan bases are actually happy with their director of football. Brentford and Brighton spring to mind and I wonder how many clubs DOF just goes out and signs players that the club wants rather than the coach has requested. I still insist the main cause of us seemingly not having value for money when it comes to transfer signings is we’ve functioned as a half hearted approach to a DOF. I’d probably go as far as 25% Orta signings 75% coach requests. I can’t fault Radz for the money he has spent, it’s just been wasted by either a coach or DOF
Which summer did we do nothing in the transfer market? Im old. Refresh my old memory. Was it 2021 we did nothing?
Dan Ashworth was the brains behind Brighton but left last May to join Newcastle: Since joining as the club’s sporting director last summer, Dan Ashworth has gone about restructuring Newcastle’s academy in order to boost the quantity - and quality - of local talent coming through. The Magpies’ academy scouting set-up has already been bolstered by the arrivals of Manchester City duo Paul McLaren and Paul Midgeley,
So Orta has been gradually upgrading the players at the academy but since Bielsa went there is no direction, no tactical plan, no coaching specifics as too many different managers involved so each coach at each age level doing their own thing, it’s crap
