he is 4th choice at best here.

klopps had ample chance to stick him.on at rb later in the last few games and he has not so that speaks volumes imo

We really need to look to upgrade on both Matip and Gomez, simply because they’re unreliable options. Gomez has potential to play into this system because of his pace but the last injury has really taken it out of him.

Jorg Schmadtke due in Liverpool this week to finalise #LFC role. Plan for Ward to hand over & Schmadtke help existing structure (most transfer groundwork done). Club still watching sporting director market but deal can extend if goes well @TheAthleticFC

@Sucky up to his old tricks? Don't wait too long to tell the authorities. It's easier to prosecute while they can still gather evidence.

is there a consolidated list of who has scope to spend what for premier league transfers?

I eman it is something that should be calculable based on the losses people have sustained over 3 years.

But going forwards would it not be possible to show Revenue was X and spending was Y on transfers and wages and really be able to predict how much money say arsenal can spend? If you coudl then you could say ok you want rice then you have to sell some players.

no as it doesn't work that simply as the headline losses are not used for FFP as any number of items can be offset against losses i.e infrastructure , community projects .Plus the fees & wages are amortised for FFP purposes but sales aren't iirc

So basically this is not true.

There is not fixed release in his current contract. He is allowed to talk to other clubs due to a clause

Football Insider have reported that the Seagulls talisman’s new contract, which he signed back in October, includes a release clause that is set to become active during the upcoming window, therefore making it slightly easier to get a deal over the line.

All it allows is him to discuss terms, Brighton do not have a release clause included, nor does caicedo

Paul Barber came out few weeks ago saying no Brighton player has a release clause as not something they believe benefits them.

So calling bollocks on that one
