Last time we got relegated it was right up until the last fixture, so there was a tiny bit of hope right up until the last (against Man U, lost 2-1 after going 1-0 up if anybody remembers!). But there's something extra depressing about watching a team play two fixtures when already relegated. There is somehow less determination and desire than there already was.
