    I agree. I think the issue is that he isn’t the fastest. But from a get go start 0-60 perspective he is explosive.

    Surprisingly, I'm pretty sure Phil Jagielka used to have the fastest record for years because defenders tend to run full tilt without the ball chasing back so they can hit top speed easier than a winger who's dribbling with the ball.

    He’s not even the fastest in the top 3 for pace in our squad ffs. Gordon is quicker, Willock is quicker, Isak is quicker. In fact I’d say maxi is quicker n all.

    Rofl Willock and Isak aren't quick. Almiron's pace is so insane he looks faster than everyone else while jogging.

    What I think he does have is great acceleration, rather than out and out speed

    There's a few times this season he's got away from his marker easily by using a change of pace/direction rather than just out sprinting him

    Other than NO he's not one of the quickest players.

    That list doesn't include, Raheem Sterling, Brennan Johnson, Mathius Nunez, Keiran Tierney, Reiss Nelson, Jacob Murphy etc who have all recorded faster times than Miggy.

    Ah, so all players have ran at 100% their top speed at the time of being recorded, I see.

    That settles that.

    I'm not sure if Miggy is one of the fastest players but I know what I've seen, and the guy is absolutely rapid.

    I've seen all those players run, and I'd consider Miggy among them. He is rapid as ****.
