This season SR have sacked a manager after about 3 or 4 months so Russell Martin should be sacked by the end of August after only winning one preseason friendly and not winning a single game in June.
Like most people I will give RM my support but really don’t expect him to make it Christmas Nothing I have listened too or read fills me full of any confidence that we will either be entertaining to watch or start winning, just looks like more of the same to me
I will give him my support too. I really really hope he proves the doubters wrong. As someone said earlier if we hadn't appointed Jones there would be a lot less fans complaining about It.
The trouble with you is you have eaten all your positive heads. There are only the negative f**kers left.
Definitely feels a bit on the underwhelming side, but I would at least say: - No huge red flags like Jone’s time at Stoke, worst you could say is that his record is average, but not bad. - Actual experience of being a manager, unlike Selles. Does concern me though that Swansea have had similar problems to us re creativity. He will hopefully have access to significantly more resources here, so that could make a difference.

It will be like one of those stereotypical ending to a Scooby-Doo cartoon, where having caught the bad guy, who this time is disguised as football manager Russell Martin; Freddy, Velma, Daphne, Shaggy and their anthropomorphic dog Scooby, describe the process that has led to the bad man's capture. I would have said great players and have all the attributes to be a good manager. Rather than who is he and he doesn’t have a good track record.
I think alot of you'll are scarred from everything that has happened this season from the boardroom to on and of the playing field and it's very understandable.....damn what I'm I saying this is jus typical saints fans .... surprisingly no one has made a Russell Martin out thread as yet

Eww. I don't know. Wiffs of Jones and Selles. His record is very very average. Sport Republic trying to be clever again. I was hoping for Viera.
Manning in particular. As a free transfer, it's almost an open goal to pick him up (unless a PL club decides to get involved). He didn't make the official EFL team of the season, but he did make Sky's team of the season.
