As I, and most others have indicated, it would be perverse to dump TM now, following the job he has just done. I say that as someone who was not overly pleased when he was appointed.
The Sky report and other confirmation that TM is staying just brought a big smile to my face and a happy tingling feeling that our fantastic journey continues on track. I am excited for the summer and can hardly wait for the start of next season, roll on the transfers and pre season and then a packed SOL to watch our lads playing the beautiful game beautifully! HTLF
IMO only, we have a busy summer ahead both on and off the pitch. If I was a betting man, I'd say comings and goings upstairs and down stairs. Interesting times on the way. HWTL.
I would think now he's back in charge of Eastleigh, he'll want to put any money into that and to get shot of his shares in SAFC. Now that it seems that we are ahead of schedule and more than likely aiming for the play-offs and higher next season again he'll have to cough up more.
Really don't care one way or another about the bloke, he's just a minority shareholder with no say anyway. Wouldn't be surprised if there are some big name investors looking at us again, especially after the season we have had.
I hope he ****s off asap. He will probably spin it that he was a major part of our rise from L1 to Championship playoff contenders. Eastleigh is much more his level.
I wonder, if he hadnt been so completely out of his depth, would we indeed be where we are now? Imagine if we won that first play off final. He would have had to get people on board. Would that have been KLD at that point? I have a fear he would have brought another plonker in and we would still be buying over the hill knackers as he had no vision.
We trump them location wise for TM though he is clearly loving nipping to work then going home to his family!
Aye but be isnt daft either. 1 year left is all he has. Right now his stock is high. Imagine if Carrick starts badly next year... Or Southampton chuck money about. Leeds is just down the road as well. I would be getting him signed up to a new 3 year deal to be honest. About time we let a coach build a club philosophy from the top, and he has shown he is the man for that.
