I think the same report said there have been at least 198 mass shootings in the US this year. Mass is defined as 4 deaths or more. Dreadful loss of life yet they do nothing. Oh, sorry, they pray a lot...
The right to bear arms ... and all that it brings ! Alas the gun lobbies put fat too much finance into the U.S. campaigns for anything to change. Rip all those that lose their lives through such mindless actions.
"They're just trying to take our guns." No. Nobody wants your guns. You have them. You have all the guns, nobody else wants anything to do with them. People want to live in a society where guns no longer exist or are needed. But these people won't accept that. Because if they are the ones with all the guns, then they will have to take responsibility for the killing. And they won't do that either.
I just stumbled across this, though he actually died in April, I suspect many will have known him from Spiders and playing in Nyam Nyam in the 80's, I very briefly played in a band with him as well. RIP Tim please log in to view this image

A sales guy for Aalco used to visit me and our buyer great guy , died in that fire with his dad and son , such a shock and so sorry to hear at the time . Thanks for the reminder I’ll give him some thought today .
Think it was being shown live on Yorkshire TV at the time, and really was awful to watch. Heart wrenching stuff
I was watching my with my dad and I don't think we could take it in at the time. I also saw the twin towers come down live on the telly. That was a similar experience. There was five of us watching the whole thing and on both occasions none of us even spoke, it was just silence. What can you say at a time like that?
I was with my brother in law at bellend road watching Rovers in a cup game. Nothing was said in the ground, it wasn't until we got back to the car and put the radio on that we knew what happened. Tragic. R.I.P.
Last game of the season away at Brentford - think we went up but lost the game. Stopped on a service station on the way back - saw something on TV no idea of the horror that had happened RIP
Saw the tv news footage in a packed bar in Tenerife the day it happened. The bar was essentially empty 15 minutes later due to the horror of the event. Much respect shown by the punters.
