Interesting, I just read that the average mature cock was between 8 and 15lbs... Granted, that was in an article about raising peafowl, but interesting timing.
Well, the ceiling now for you is reputation. Until you build that up a lot of top players won't want to play for you. City had the same problem when they first became rich, they only got big names from overseas when those big names thought they were signing for United. Give it another five years of big money treatment and you'll probably be able to sign some top talent.
Of course it’s not over. Leicester could spring a surprise just like Everton did at Brighton. And Man Utd have still got to win their games. Stranger things have happened. Our team the current one really deserves to be in the CL. I’m not sure what’s happened mid season but if we miss out on the CL it will have a really poor season, with the talent at our disposal.
For tonight certainly, but in other games I've watched they don't move the ball quickly enough to play out effectively. Or at least they put themselves into very risky positions. They hold onto it too long waiting for someone to give them a ball and end up getting caught in possession or hurriedly giving it away. A bit like Arsenal up until recently, they're very vulnerable to a press. Like I said, this is in the games I've watched - perhaps I've missed ones where they do it better.
Not going to give up... Our chances now... Surely no greater than 5-10%. Still worth fighting though.
Agree. I've always been convinced that we would get European football of one flavour or another even at our lowest points. CL isn't gone yet. EL could make a refreshing change with a chance to play some teams we haven't played before or at least for some time.
I feel in danger of being drawn into defending an argument I'm not making. I've made one simple point all along, and that is if someone knowingly breaks the rules then they are entirely responsible for that. No amount of culpability on the part of someone else lessens their guilt - that's all I'm saying. I'm not arguing any of the other points, so I'm not inclined to go any further with this. On a related note, I suspect our government will put pressure on the football authorities not to be too draconian in their judgement. Don't want to get on the wrong side of all our dodgy investors. I fear a public slap on the wrist but a quiet "as you were" is on the cards.
I actually don't watch all our games live now because we don't have Sky so it will be business as usual for me. I have a subscription to LFCTV so get all the games on there a day later as an option.
This is the first time I have heard that missing CL and falling into the Europa is called a REFRESHING change. I for one would call it as a crappy unwelcome change.
