Could be interesting if it ends up as The Smoggies v Sunderland in the play off final, along with Newcastle playing Chelsea the next day.... the whole of the North East could be descending on London that weekend.

Surely The Met would then contact Humberside OB for their advice on how to police such a powder keg scenario.

nah - West Yorkshire - experts in the bubble match - could easily declare a bubble weekend and all that entails - all away fans banned - no one at Wembley and only Chelsea at Stamford Bridge - no trouble whatsoever proving it was the right decision

It can sometimes happen, I can remember in the Bowen/Turbo days us going to Fulham and pretty much similar to the Everton/Brighton game just caught Fulham on the counterattack. I remember Scott Parker saying we were the best counter-attacking side he can come up against.

Practically but not mathematically. Hopefully they go all out to make themselves mathematically safe this weekend (and put TWS deeper in it).

.. and exactly what is 'currently' missing from our game... the time it takes Luton to get from one box to the other, not by lumping it and then putting huge pressure on the opposition team..

They've won loads of 2nd balls and 50/50s but they've not created much. The height difference is killing Sunderland

If Everton swap places with Luton, that has just got to rub even more salt in their wounds. <laugh>

If Sunderland could pass it well as we do they’d be more effective - Luton are a big long ball side not exactly pretty to watch but effective . Another side that would struggle in the Premiership IMO
