Southampton bought championship standard and young players that should be proving themselves in the Championship and guess what, they're relegated to the Championship.
Leicester have to play to win. That should allow us to have more spaces and increase our chances to score. A draw is not good enough for them or for us. It will get them the drop and will realistically end our chase for top 4.
I hope Leeds go down for allowing a fan to get to stand right by Eddie Howe in the dugout area and gesticulate at him.
The race to get into the football leagues is finishing in style. Chesterfield v Notts County going to pens by the looks of it. John Bostock, remember him, the one that went to Spurs and was supposed to be the 'next big thing', saving it for Notts just before full time.
Just about to say it's gone penalties. Been a entertaining game to watch, both fairly local to me too
Notts County back in the football league. Rightfully so really since they finish on over 100pts and well clear of third
I'll bet you they try "keep it tight" seen it before. the thought 1 goal on the break here then have 11 men back with no hope of a break
Cba going back but I am fairly sure I was agreeing and very confident that neither of you will drop the required points I am certain we will finish 5th May even be 6th depending on Brighton Been here before when everyone was saying that City would drop points in the run in blindly optimistic some of them on here But they are lovely
No mate, I still think every game could be a banana skin. The key for me is how close behind you remain. If you continue to be 1 point behind then it's tight until Toons and us get the 6 points we need. Look at it this way. You win tomorrow, you're 1 point behind. 1 point behind going into next Saturday when we both play at the same time. We're away to Bournemouth, you at home to Villa. So many combinations possible. You win, we don't, then you go above us. We both win, we only remain 1 point ahead FFS. I hate this ****.
newcastle and you play Thursday? newcastle v Brighton is the key game starts with us winning or not. we need to draw to assure 7th and the win assures 5th so its actually big deal for us next summer. 5th = europa league group and no compromised preseason After that we can roll the dice. I wouldn't be shocked at all to see this being a 72.point 4th place like when arsenal celebrated over spurs. really newcastle are falling over that line and utd not much better so a lot of work has to be done next year by both clubs as we have to.
Only Newcastle play this Thursday as you say. United and Livpl both play next Saturday. We then play Chelsea the Thursday after then Fulham on the last day.
