Thank you, GB, but I don't deserve to be compared with the forum 'master tipper'. However, it was nice to have a bit of good fortune for a change. The 11/1 I saw during the past week really hit me in the eye, what with the certainty that the ground would remain very soft until today. Metier is a very good hurdler and flat performer in his own right, and on heavy ground he can go with the best? Was glad to see Stick liked him too. Thought Saffie had botched it by lying too far back, and then making a move on the wide outside. But no, she was brilliant and timed it to perfection. Happy for Harry Fry and his stable too, and not forgetting the owner as well. He only has about half-a-dozen horses.

I am just very happy that I didnt jinx it for him.
    Great shout at 11/1
Ridiculously I have not backed him in singles so I really need one of the other two in my bet to oblige (if not both please)

So dissapointing, didnt ever move out of the last two. Too awful to be true. Was potentially my largest ever win on one bet.

Nice performance from Perfuse at Nottingham - probably not beaten much and soft-heavy but did it in very good style.

Some nice tips on here today I’m just catching up with <doh>. Any of the Irish racing followers seen the stewards absolute howler of a decision at Kilbeggan? No action taken against Rachel Blackmore when she clearly rode a finish a circuit too early on Lady Rita. Bizarre and baffling. No point having them.
