Its a shame the organisers make a mockery of the tournament by choosing a stadium for the final which only hosts 19,000 fans Winning it earns you around £12 mill max shoddy
To be fair they could each celebrate with 10 bottles of vodka and 10 crack pipes and it wouldn’t matter a jolt against Leeds this year. (Now I’ve gone and ****ed it for Saturday)
And a spot in the Europa group stages which would mean having a better season than 2 or 3 more illustrious teams!
Did you enjoy your day back over here in the sunny uplands the other day Mick, aside from the result of course?
I did yeah,we went out to Whitley Bay and Tynemouth on Saturday, nice stroll around and a market, killed a few hours before we got into our hotel, joined the "No Monarchy protest" at Monument, good day had by all .I won't talk about Sunday!
In for now, I did waver after the Newcastle result, but next match it was obvious the players were still playing for him, which is really all I ask. Lots of context as to why we've had such a poor season in the league, and one of the things I like about West Ham was loyalty to their manager, less than 20 people have managed West Ham in our history, including caretakers. I think he has to win the Europey pot to survive until next season though, we spent a lot of money (for us) and if all we end up with is 15th-17th I can see him being moved aside at the end of the season.
Jason Tindall by all accounts forgets he's the assistant and that Eddie is the manager. I think what Gary O'Neill did there is spot on.
Yeah, Jason has been his assistant for years. He was the Bournemouth manager when Eddie got sacked and then got sacked himself.
