Shame, the lasses in the ticket office have been absolute diamonds whenever I've needed them. Hope they aren't getting any grief.

Sell out, surely? This team deserve it.

They put a cut off point on the queue at 4pm so all those already there could get served. The alternative would have been keeping the office open indefinitely which wasn’t really a viable option as the staff had never stopped.

I would be amazed if it is anywhere near a sell out. Our recent history tells us we never get massive crowds when everyone is buying a ticket. If we get 40,000 I will be over the moon.

Turns out the lad who tweeted was putting the wrong card type (Visa/Mastercard) when buying tickets.

<laugh><laugh> He's had a mare there then. There is an option to 'save card details' im sure, so future purchases will be easier and quicker. Seen a few others who were complaining but they hadn't set the people in their network up correctly to be able to 'manage tickets' on their behalf. None of that is the clubs fault. Some fans are genuinely struggling and need a bit of extra help but there are others who don't help themselves.

We got just shy of 45000 for the Sheff Wed first leg game last season, hopefully we can repeat that on Saturday

Sheff Wed are arguably a bigger club/pull than Luton ...

... but this is for promotion to the PL so swings and roundabouts.

I think we had more time to make arrangements last time, feels that way.

We definitely had more time to prepare for the Sheff Wed game, the lads sorting the flags out had time to sort the cats eyes tifo in the east stand. Doubt they will have time to put anything like that together in time for Sat.

My thoughts exactly. We will have a better idea tomorrow when we find out how many season card holders haven’t taken up their seats.

Sorting out everything for a Saturday game starting on Tuesday or Wednesday morning, may be easy if you're local.

But for the huge number of exiles it's tight.

There's no 'popping down to the ticket office' option and you may well have to wait for SC sales to end. That leaves just a few days to organise transport, accommodation, etc. And, unlike the Luton fans, you can't just book a seat on a nice comfy coach straight to the SOL.

    And I think there's train strikes <doh>

I've booked three nights in Durham, starting tonight, before we go home to Scotland, so at least we won't have a big drive there on the day.

Not a massive safety concern you wouldn't have thought when compared to coins and flares to name two random possible projectiles <doh>

It looks good for a few minutes but not worth all the pre and post-match effort imo.

One entire stand can't even see it and they're doing all the work.

I'd prefer nothing contrived and no music or daft announcements ...

... left to their own devices the supporters would make their own atmosphere as they did at Preston.

I’m sure the crowd will be massive however we need to remember a lot of people are skint in the current climate. £25 may not seem a lot to some but it’s a good few meals for others.
