Real Madrid are just unbelievable in big games. They look so solid. I hate their **** housing but it works so well. haaland hasn’t had a sniff
It feels like its set up for Real to **** on Citys parade again even though the second leg is at the Etihad this time. Can just see Real soaking up the pressure and hitting them on the break and winning it again.
40 years ago today I was in Gothenburg watching Aberdeen beat Real Madrid to win the CWC. Pub quiz question - who was the last team to beat Real Madrid in a European final?.......
More importantly than any champions league game, Basingstoke won the Hampshire cup, beating afc Bournemouth. It's the triple for them. Presumably the league and their league's cup competition. Shame their shyster previous owner forced them out of the Camrose so he could build apartments on it.
Only just seen the score from the first leg play off between Sheffield Wednesday and Peterborough. Crazy. Wednesday finished on 96 points, the most ever to not get automatic promotion in this country, and finished 19 points ahead of Peterborough. The play offs are brutal.
If you`ve nothing better to do, check out Karl-Heinz Rummenigge by the The Funky Red Pandas on Youtube - best football song I`ve heard to ages!
Diallo again showing why I want us to be all over him next season, if Utd are again happy to loan him to the Championship. I suspect, however, he'll be heading to a PL team (who might yet be Sunderland).
Hoping that Cov beat Boro and go up for a couple of reasons. Their fans have had such a rough time for many years and Mark Robins deserves it and for selfish reasons I hope that we can poach Carrick if Boro lose the tie.
Whilst I do agree with your reasoning, I would suggest that Boro are more likely to finish in the top 6 next season than Coventry are. If Coventry don't get promoted, they'll lose Gyokeres - and without him, it'll be very difficult for them to repeat this season (and even with him, they were very lucky that this season 70 points was enough to get a top 6 finish). I'd quite like there to be as few threats to us as possible next season.
