Poor Reading! @_The72 Coventry spent 17 days in the playoff positions this season. Sunderland were in the top 6 for 18 days. Reading spent 58 days there and ended up getting relegated
If anyone ever thinks it's too soon to go up, this is the danger to not getting promoted. I doubt we'd do an MK Dons but we could easily be the Wycombe equivalent and miss the playoffs by a couple of points next year
Not necessarily - we lose Burnley, Sheff Utd and AN Other, to be replaced by a very poor Southampton, a basket case Leicester and a managerless Leeds potentially
Yeah fair point, Watford could be up there if the spend the pedro money well but they’re another basket case, I’d fancy us for the top 4 though if we are still here
Well that was a belter weekend, deffo in my top six away days. Stayed in Blackpool Sunday, marvellous. Payed for my ticket for Saturday, I am presuming it goes straight onto this seasons season card, they've taken coin and it shows as next game on my account, not received an email or e ticket. There's a thread on RTG, I had a quick scan of a couple of pages but could not find any info relevant to my assumption, it's wads of pages of irrelevant off topic crap. Anyone know if my assumption is correct? TIA. Edit; Just seen other thread on ticketing, so all sorted. Apologies for doddery.
Didn’t know they’d booed him. After all he’s done for them and they treat him like that for having his opinion . He should have cleared his locker and walked away for good straight after game
I agree with you but my one caveat would be that all three of those are in a much better position to turn it around than Burnley were and look what they did. Also better equipped than the likes of Watford who just had loads of deadwood. All three of them have focused on young players recently, and so whilst will all lose some of them, they're all fairly well equipped to have a good go at championship level (in my opinion).
Bring it on. This team of ours can only get better and imagine if we can keep Stewart fit AND buy some other strikers to compliment him
Best part of the country could say I’m geordie/ brummie/ cockney etc not English and our region has suffered since Thatcher. But apparently it’s only them who should be highlighted
He was fantastic with his passing etc but watch his run when we score the second goal. He breaks into the box and takes defenders with him leaving Pritchard the time he needed to give Woodman the eyes - class
Exactly marra, don’t know the numbers precisely but after the closures of the Pits, shipyards and steelworks in our region can’t imagine any place being more butchered and decimated by the Tories than us, but ffs we don’t go on like them sad t****
I don’t know any figures , just my guess, but that guess is that Merseyside is now receiving more investment and improvements than we are these days.
My son was saying, at Preston, that our incredible support carries an air of belligerence, almost as if we refuse to be beaten down and act the victims ... ... I think he's right, we have pride and self respect but not the arrogance or bitterness.
