Wow just wow. Theres nothing i can say now on here that hasnt been already mentioned but im so proud of the lads right now, and im also not ashamed ive cried more than once tonight. To see Diallo kiss the badge and say he would come back was also so pleasing to see. Lets not forget other than Atalanta he's not had a place he can truely call home for 2 years now, and i think it shows he loves us as much as we love him, but in the words of Jay from The Inbetweeners "Championship, done it mate". Hes ready for the next stage in development now and we'd be kidding ourselves thinking we could get him again next year if we dont go up. It has no benefit to him or Man Utd at all, but he's basically said he'll be back if we can play at the next level which he needs now. Lets also not forget though its not all about him doing us a favour. How many other teams could he play for next year that would worship him in their thousands and offer him world class training facilities and an amazing home stadium.
No words to describe my love for this club and current team. Just off the train through mag land, in a bar with one of the lads loving life knocking them back. Bring on the play offs. We can win them.
https://www.lutontown.co.uk/news/2023/may/edwards-reaction-hull Looks like theyll be alot fresher than us. Im preying we can get Ballard back and id like to think he's banging on Mowbrays door telling him hes good to go. Cirkins also a worry and for a young lad built like a Greek god, he certainly gets his fair share of injuries
Just want to say how well Blackburn did today,I had a hard time last monday trying to explain why we needed them to draw with Luton and give them something to fight for and fight they did class, also want to say what a great save Patto made and then Clark’s clearance what a day you couldn’t have made it up COME ON
I can remember looking at the fixtures before the start of the season and thinking "we have a hard run in, I hope we don’t have to get a result at Preston on the last game of the season to avoid relegation". That's how much I know about football
Any neutral who watches us must love it? That’s not saud with arrogance at all but we play some unbelievable football Pretty sure this is my favourite season to date
Anyway, last year my son came over for the semi-final first leg ...and we went up. This year he wants to do the same, just he works on Saturday and needs to wrangle the day off tomorrow with his boss. I'm free too. €70 return flights to Birmingham would get us in at 12:30 where my cousin who lives on the south coast (having married a soft southerner, a great lad I have to say) could pick us up and the three of us could get to he game. Haway the boss tomorra!
I just finished watching the match, checking the table, and reading through this thread. Congratulations Sunderland. So happy for all of you. Thank you, SAFC, for giving me something else to get fired up about.
