If all goes to plan I get a call at 8am for PNE hospitality ticket. It is touch and go, but I have everything crossed. If I am it will amongst PNE players family, god help them <laugh>. Some loon from Weardale guzzling pints and treating food like a takeaway side order of salad no bugger wants.

Given up trying to sleep, proper cup final feel about today, 3 o’clock feels so far away but I really fancy boro to turn up and do us a favour today, 0-2 Clarke and a late Amad stunner to wrap it up

    Strangely, not nervous.

    What will be, will be!

I reckon, this season, newly promoted from purgatory but on the final match of the season.... with all the injuries having ripped the spine of the team out... to be in with a shout of a play-off spot... is success for me.

Although come 3.00pm, I am sure I 'will be having kittens' watching us play and checking on other vital games.

Up since 6.30 and starting to get ready to travel from Mansfield, quite a few going from the Notts area ...

... it'll be a fun day for Preston if we batter them,, Boro beat Coventry and their friends Blackburn replace Millwall.

Never mind, whatever happens our players and supporters will celebrate at the end. Without ever forcing the issue it's obvious there's now a real bond and it's a massive change. There was a rime, around the Moyes era, when we almost hated the club.

This is all like a dream that even defeat today can't break.
