How did "the fans" come to that majority decision?
Did the have a mass meeting somewhere or were they led there by a few like sheep to be shorn.

Nice to see the players all showed respect on the pitch and Henderson looked horrified on the touchline at what was going on.

Liverpool showing its true face and the World saw it.

I wouldn't say uptight so much, maybe piling in.

If they 'decide' to single themselves out as pointless protesters against, something or other, the rest of us will more or less say go and **** off.

Ridiculous 'look at us' scenario, and no one else really gives a ****.

Bar media outlets (especially my mates the BBC), who gave them a window for some reason.

Never really thought about that. The head of state would largely be a symbolic figure so I'm not sure it makes much of a difference?

Surely we would have a President?

Would Scotland and N Ireland want our President, and Wales come to that. Goes to show mate, it's not really been thought through, people just saying get rid of the Monarchy, I think we need a plan first. <laugh>

Yep I'm calling it head of state but in effect a President who would be a symbolic figure. Cutting ribbons and **** lol.

Agree, we'd also need to decide which skip to dump the royals in first <whistle>

Exactly, imagine the likes of Boris with total power. The head of the monarchy is the head of the church and has a lot of power and keeps the scum (politicians) in line to some degree.

Thick ****s don't realise that a president would have far more power than the royal family have had for hundreds of years and would/could be quite happy to use it :emoticon-0105-wink:

Exactly, it's not been thought through and chances are disagreements would be raised when it comes to Scotland and Northern Ireland, like those problems are never going away lol.

I will push this further but just for Scotland as that is part of the mainland.
Let's say a president decides to give Scotland independence and then proceeds to build a **** off big fence at their border and deport all Scots.
Never happen I hear the cry, he will only have a 4 year term then we could kick him out.
Well in his last 4 years Trump built a fence at the Mexican border and now 3 years into Bidens term it's still there and I haven't heard of any plans to rip it down.

I'd certainly hope we'd make better choices at president, preferable one that's not a lunatic (Trump) to one that knows what day of the week it actually is (Biden), from one that will cause mass civil unrest (Macron), to one that wants to reclaim land (Putin). Such a good crop to pick from, we sure this is what we want. <laugh>

America thesupposed greatest country on earth has virtually no health service.
I never knew until recently how poor USA looks after their citizens.
What they do is wrap then up in the Flag and let the people judge each other.
