Not really interested in Charlie or his missus but am watching the proceedings as its an event I may never see again. And it shows the rest of the world how to put on a show.

I am not anti-Royal, I’ll make that clear.

In a cost of living crisis when people are homeless and cannot feel there kids I cannot support or get behind a ludicrous show of opulence using taxpayers money that we would have no issue being used to help ‘the man in the street’.

I’ve always thought Charlie was a canny old bean, this stinks for me though. I get history and heritage and all of that. It’s just horrific, inappropriate timing.

Yin/Yang is the Tories getting their arses kicked but I won’t start on that.

I just can’t get behind this right now.

    Living history.

It'll be interesting to see how much extra money this puts into the London economy.

Not exactly anti royalist but can’t believe that the BBC don’t have alternative news on.
Also, the crowds lining the route looked quite sparse to what I was expecting.

On Charlie's right is the Bishop of Durham whom I have had the pleasure of meeting.

I would normally agree with you, but as it hasnt happened since 1953, and some people have lived and died without seeing one, i am willing to give it a pass on this occassion. If Charles dies within the next decade or two id like to think Williams coronation will be a more stripped back affair, a few drinks down the pub maybe?

I think I would have been a bit mischievous and made Ant and Dec sit the wrong way round.

Exactly, I’m not a royalist in any way but the money the monarchy bring into the country from tourism alone is unreal.

My only beef is that I wish they could distribute this money around the country , as we all share the cost from tax
