Isn't it funny how people see the same things differently, I thought it was a pair of giant serving tongs.

But now you've pointed it out, I can see that it is indeed a giant grass cock.

Camping out since Thursday night! Their tenacity only matched by the villagers of Holmes Chapel and their 100 balls of wool. It's what being British (and NI) is all about. Proud.

A special connection with William and Harry

Patrick O'Neill is from west Belfast and has been a fan of the royal family all his life.

Patrick O'Neill follows the royal family wherever they go
He is part of a group who have been camping out to get a prime viewing point since Thursday night.

"I've made so many friends over the years that they are keeping my spot," wheelchair-using Patrick told BBC News NI.

"Because of my disability I can't be here all the time but I have built up friendships over the years and we all look out for each other.

He lost his mother around the time that Princess Diana died and has felt an affinity with the loss experienced by Princes William and Harry since then.

"I follow the royal family on as many engagements as I can. I love them," he said.

"Seeing a new King be crowned is going to be special.

The great day is almost upon us.

Coronation Day for the Monarchists, Coronation Street for the Republicans.

Charles and Camilla are in the drawing room (whatever that is) at Buckingham Palace.
Charles has just been handed a letter. He searches the Library, the Grand Sitting room and the Ballroom. With obvious frustration in his voice he calls out to Camilla,
"Darling, what have you done with the letter opener?"
Camilla replies, "I've given him the day off".

"He kept poking his finger in the bacon slicer"
Charles looks around "I don't see a bacon slicer"
"No dear, I gave her the day off too".

    Bedtime, big day tomorrow.

    Coronation Timetable
Up early, put on my Union Jack underpants and bowler hat.
Settle down in front of the telly from 7.30am.
Drink Yorkshire tea from my Charles and Camilla mug.
    Full English breakfast. Marvellous.
Saving the face masks for when the team comes out.

    Practice the Oath.
I swear that I will pay true allegiance to Your Majesty, and to your heirs and successors according to law. So help me God. (optional)

That'll do for now, or else I won't be able to sleep with all the excitement.
    God save the King.

Are there YouGov polls over time so that we can see what's happening to Royalists v Roundheads? Can only imagine it must be like seeing the count of the Blue Few diminishing in Hampshire.

Am going kayaking, so looks like I'm going to miss it all. I'll survive the disappointment of not seeing it live though.

The big channel debate now. Itv have adverts but we could get Ally McCoist. BBC could have 90 minutes of Danny Murphy talking about himself.

I used to be a staunch republican, and I think I still mostly am…

But I do absolutely love the history and ceremony traditions that go back thousands of years. The thought of all the previous kings and queens walking through Westminster and London is absolutely fascinating to me

5 minutes to KO and and the teams are warming up on the pitch.
As expected, the Royals are playing their usual formation without anyone on the left wing.

Mrs No7 is out, so I get the full match day experience. Applauded the Wales' and booed Camilla. I know shouldn't boo until after the game as it doesn't help....

It's tough though. Can't see how Charlie dropped Diana for a horse.
