I think the only festering going on here is the open sore that is the tigers fans hatred for their former hero and mr allam is probably unwittingly building an inter club dislike that will last for years.
i still hate the spurs fans for punching that woman in the 2000 league cup final and i love to hear that they have lost.
this situation will drive a wedge between our 2 great and similar clubs that maybe would have been best avoided. i also think that if top upped his offer then the no good egyptian would up his demands.

The thing is, wouldn't people within the media know that such a thing was written into his contract. For instance, everyone knows the compensation figure is around £700k so I would have thought that someone would have reported such a thing by now.

Although, the fact he seems reluctant to resign means that it is possible that such a clause is inserted. If that is the case, I can see it going to a tribunal but my question would be, what actually triggers the case to go to tribunal?

Bit sensitive to compare someone calling your club a childish name to an assault on a woman. Some people are too emotionally unstable to use these forums.

Forget Mr Allam for his stubborness, just check through a few of your wummers threads for the past few months. I have no dislike of Leicester as a club or City. I have relatives who live there, and you have some great posters on this forum as well.
It's just football rivalry and all the stuff that comes with supporting your City and team. We don't often lose Managers in this way and it's struck a chord.
In many areas people support nearby teams and shun their natural club. Not where I come from, it's the Tigers or nothing.
Remember we have TWS not far away so plenty of rich language knocking about.

I've always liked Leicester. Still do. The banter has been great, apart from some of the over the top WUMs.

im unmoved by the term fester. my point was that there was no bitterness in general; between our 2 sets of loyal fans until this unfortunate state of affairs.
it will be a shame if friendly banter is allowed to become spiteful.
thats all i meant and our 2 sets of directors want their bloody foreign millionaire heads banging together

Both Top and Assem Allam are both successful businessmen and neither will back now by the looks of things. Both are businessman before football fans so they and doing what they are used to

What ever happens there is no way back for Nigel at Hull now. If Nigel thinks the deal is close to collapsing he will force it through by quitting. Hes gone too far now for this not to happen

I thought the whole point of a clause like that is when someone offers it you have to accept it, you can ask for more

    They know **** all

Maybe it would be best for Vichai to do the negotiations with their owners as i reckon he will be able to reach a compromise with them. Both owners are very stubborn at the minute

@HumbersideSport understands compensation talks re-open between #HCAFC & #LCFC, attitudes may have 'softened'. Possible deal early next week

This off twitter from BBC Humberside

When all this has settled do you think we would have a chance of extending Waggys loan spell in January or should Allam not bother wasting a phone call.

Waghorn will be re called first thing. Pearson would want him back and Vassell has now picked up a long term injury

All I can say is if this isnt sorted between the two clubs soon all this speculation of NP going will end as he won't quit as he will have a clause in his contract were he can't join a club for around 3 months are Leicester really going to wait to get there man I don't think so, if this is the case I don't no we're we go as most players at our club have now lost respect for NP, we have been playing really well this season, then Leicester come along and unsettle our club. Pay the fee you rich gets if Pearson is really the right man to carry you into the premiership.....!
