For the record obviously I was wrong in the OP. As mentioned above we were 7 points from playoffs at the time and I was probs a bit dejected.
Some great points have been mentioned about even by him being on the pitch our youngsters will learn a great deal and that will develop them etc.
Also as has been pointed out the parent club(s) will be happy with our handling of their assets which means they will trust us again in the future.
So hands up I was wrong :emoticon-0148-yes:

What makes Amad extra special in my eyes is his reaction when he loses the ball . No waving arms about or looking skywards, no rash fouls that often result in a free kick and a booking. He quickly attempts to win the ball back often successfully , and the move is continued in the right direction. It shows his commitment to the cause, rather than himself, a truly rare trait in a player with his talent, imo this will not be lost on his parent club and we just might under the right circumstances see him back here again. We live in hope.

Seen Jack Clarke lose the ball lots this season and then on occasions goes and give a free kick away when attempting to get the ball back.
Just love him as a footballer but he needs to cut this out from his game. It immediately hands the opposition an attacking option.

Exactly and when Roberts loses the ball he gives up altogether , on the other hand Amad immediately tries to pinch it back and often does , its part of his style and he is so quick he often succeeds , its a gift and probably can't be coached. Don't get me wrong I like all three and we are lucky to have them, but it would be great if the others could follow suit. Another culprit was the legend that is Cattermole, his disciplinary record was almost entirely down to his instinctive reactions to losing the ball, but I wont go there. <laugh> .

I rate JC highly. And he's been an ever present this season I believe. He scores important goals and assists a lot too. 9/10 from me this season.

He has been our best forward this season in my mind , wing back is his natural position , his goals and assists are first class but he does go to ground far to easy and commits silly fouls (all la Cattermole) , good as he and Roberts are, and they both have Premiership quality, but both need to add a bit of savvy to their game imo.

I seem to remember us having loans finishing before the playoffs in the past. Is Amad with us until our season finishes or teatime Monday? Could be the same of course!

I think it's season long....so if our season goes into play-offs,so does the loan period.
