Good results elsewhere this weekend, we desperately need to capitalise with a win tonight. Fast start and an early goal to demoralise them would be ideal.
.... or two or three .... I think this is a case of loser goes down. A draw for us won't be good enough either. Main worry is how much we'll miss Iheanacho. Terrible time for him to get injured.
I would have agreed a week ago ... but Vardy looked very good during his Leeds cameo ... and bagging a goal will hopefully mean he'll go on a run ...
Good luck Tonight Leicester.... let's get rid of Everton who've been complaining about an owner that's provided them with huge investment and a new stadium.
Most attackers look good against the Leeds defence. Don't think we'll get the same level of naivete from the likes of Everton, Fulham, Liverpool, Newcastle and West Ham. Nacho holds the ball up and brings others into the game .... including Vardy. Hope we don't get any cameo performances from ex-Leicester players tonight.
FFS get Barnes off! Has anyone told him we're in a relegation battle? He's strolling around marking no one when we're out of possession. No challenge, no effort. Absolute disgrace.
Too angry for words. Absolutely gave the game away due to bad decisions, both on and off the pitch. Lost the midfield and left both full backs exposed. We needed more energy but no KDH, Mendy or Praet introduced. Poor decision for Maddison to take the penalty. Thank goodness for Iversen. Fantastic performance and he kept us in the game. We missed Iheanacho's ability to keep hold of the ball. I fear the worst now if we can't beat a poor Everton side.
They've rushed him back after injury ... I honestly think he's not fully fit and they are gambling... would be better playing Tete or even one of the academy lads ...
I think that was a typical Barnes performance. Absolutely refuses to get goalside of any opponent in case he has to make a challenge. Why is it that managers fail to see what's going on in front of their eyes? We were getting outnumbered down the left with Thomas having to deal with 2 players and getting no support. As a result Iwobi was allowed to advance another 20 yards and put balls into the centre at will and cause all sorts of problems. Again the defence gets a bad rap, but the damage started in midfield. Why was Castagne on the left side of the defense to give away that penalty? We were crying out for someone with energy to hassle opponents in midfield, win the ball back high and get us back up the field. Unfortunately Ndidi is not doing that and neither is Tielemans. Both lack pace. Why didn't they replace Barnes with KDH and Ndidi with Mendy and get some balance? We haven't seen either of them since Dean Smith came in. Have they been caught pissing in the manager's tea?
Well, definitely a massive step backwards. So sad when your keeper is MoM in a home game against a side in the bottom tree. Says it all really.
Ndidi is well off the pace and Mendy is a much better option at this point ... Ndidi has had numerous injuries and really needs a good pre-season in him to get back to anything like the player he was ... Soumare has the physicality ... and KDH the energy ...
Relegation candidates are realistically down to 3 from 5 with Wham winning today. Hopefully they'll not be trying to hard for our game on the final day. Ideally, a win tomorrow for us would settle the nerves, if other results help. I'm so looking forward to going to tomorrow's match, sitting in the Fulham end with the Fulham supporting other half.....
With that midfield I think we can assume that we won't be engaging Fulham until they get within 25 yards of our goal. Can't see this ending well, but miracles can happen. Fingers crossed.
no fight , no desire, no clue, utter drivel... what ever happened to foxes never quit? they seriously need a shake up by smith at the break otherwise it could get really bad and destroy whatever little bit of momentum from the new manager bounce.
