Just remember: Some things in life are bad They can really make you mad Other things will make you swear and curse Then there's supporting Saints...
In my last post-match survey (Palace), they asked me how much i would recommend a game at SMS out of 10 to a friend ... naturally I voted 0 with the comment "I wouldn't wish a Saints game on my worst enemy" along with some other expletives, negative comments and rants about who I'd sack. Never got one for Bournemouth so wonder if I've been blacklisted from their ****ty surveys
Often asked that of myself but they're all old enough to make their own decisions. My grandson told me on Thursday that he can't wait for the day when SMS rocks again to 'our song!!
Just got back from the match. Was expecting a 6 or 7 -0. First half was surprisingly good. Thought Stuey was getting back to his best. The subs definitely changed the game. Newcastle bring on Wilson, we bring on Armstrong. AMN is not a full back. He made Moussa look like a Duracell bunny. So casual and slow. On the way back, the Newcastle fans around me on the bus said they were surprised that we were in the position we are in. Thought we had some good players and weren’t the worst team they’d seen at home. Having beaten us four times, they were just glad to see the back of us. Match wasn’t great, but it was definitely not a disaster.
Good to hear some positives from someone who was there. Losing to the same team 4 times in one season is still pretty shocking though.
No shame in losing to Newcastle to be honest - they’re a fantastic side now. The shame comes from how uncompetitive we are. Considering all the money spent, we looked like a lower league team. Should have been about 10-1 based on the second half. We were nowhere near them. No strikers and then bringing on Adam Armstrong, Ely and AMN in must win games is totallly unforgivable. We aren’t even fighting to stay up
No disagreement from me Os. I just don’t see the point in repeating the same thing over and over again though. We all know how **** we are!
The annoying thing is that this season is full of bad teams and yet we are the worst of the lot. I can't see Leeds getting anymore points with man City, Newcastle, west ham and spurs to play
We could cut and paste now until the end of this terrible season. Might sound a bit naive but frankly I'm looking forward to no games but indicative events right through the Club. Absolutely convinced it's going to pretty brutal for some.
Oh no, hope it’s not serious. Anyone know what the injury is? Good player, our best striker of the ball (in open play)
