I like the subtle way you equate yourself to Beckham here

I think I was watching the same game as LR tbh.

With you always being so negative and expecting so much maybe HCAFC isn't the team for you?

Don’t recall Beckham using his left foot much at all.

I doubt many will agree but if Swansea were ambitious they'd be getting a different gaffer. Martin is sold but he won't take them up and doesn't look like progressing with them either. I thought they were ****e today, they have so much of the ball but everything they do is safe and they didn't like the ball in tight areas. We're not perfect or anywhere close (a striker would help) but they just didn't look dangerous and considering they're in year 2 of the project, they're extremely similar to last year. I don't see how they can have so much possession yet concede so many goals either.

Today’s game had its moments, but overall, both teams weee very similar in style & in players. Both teams slow in build up to getting the ball forward, but the few slick moves in the game where it was passed forward was the times chances were created.
There was plenty of frustration from City today, free kicks & throw ins on the edge of their box, yet within a minute it was passed back to Darlow. There was one point, the ball was on the halfway line & it was passed back to Darlow, who then hoofed it back to where it came from, only for us to lose it & Swansea we’re on the attack, I think it was round the time they scored or just after.

Totally agree, in fact, their goal was because of it, Allahyar and Coyle were doing okay, as they were concentrating most of their approach work down our right, but they were coping, and that change just allowed them more space.

When I was in the school team at Primary school, which was in the fifties, in some practice games, if the ground was dry, the game master made us take off our boot on our natural foot and play a game using a boot on our weaker foot. I soon learnt to kick with both feet. The balls were a bit heavier in those days too.

All in all for an end-of-season game and I enjoyed it. Both teams played some nice passages of play, and Ozan was unlucky not to be on the score sheet but had a very good game.

There are certainly signs of these players getting better under Liam game by game, and if Acun is correct in 6 players incoming, then as long as they are better than what we always have next season is something to look forward to.

On the game, we again limited them to very little goal-scoring-wise, I did feel their goal was partly because of moving Allahyar and Vaughan to the other wings, which seem to give Coyle less protection. But other than that, and end of season game which was at least entertaining.

What was wonderful to see though above everything else is the atmosphere around the club now, Acun/Tan/Liam/City's staff/players & Supporters all together which bodes well for next season. We have our club back, and the only way is up.

Martin was their danger man we struggled with him and the close ply in our area .What it showed yesterday is when you press a team at their end most teams struggle to get the ball out , but we are getting better at it . Swanseas middle back two were very heavy carthorses so should have been pressed earlier . Enjoyed the game we played some cracking stuff .

If the season started when Liam came in, where would we be.

Someone do it, I'm too lazy.

Does anyone know how you can set a poster to Ignore when their profile comes up as 'This member limits who may view their full profile.' I'd really like to not see any more bollocks from dentally inclined members.

Click on the posters name and on the box that pops up, click on 'ignore'.

Yes, have done that a few times (highly recommend it for lower blood pressure). Problem is when I click on TurkeyTeeth it comes up with 'This member limits who may view their full profile.' and no Ignore option.
