Sounds optimistic to me, can’t see this dull, disinterested motley crew getting away with only five to add to their already dreadful gd.
On 6 November 2020 we beat Newcastle and we went top of the Premier league. Not that long ago but seems a lifetime away now. How fortunes have changed for both clubs Sad really!!!
If Prowsey and Perraud are out we could be starting this game with Moi, Adarma and Diallo. What could possibly go wrong?
Genuinely could be the next 9-0. Or worse. We won't get in the Newcastle half. Even just having Perraud out scares me sh*tless.
Yeah, no midweek game this time for Newcastle (unlike last week), so less reason for them to declare if they go 5-0 up again. That said, we do often put up a bit of fight and effort when we play a bigger side. Putting in a pathetic, weak performance against Forest in the game after is even more likely than being thrashed by Newcastle.
JWP will be playing for a big move so expect a free kick goal and probably a gritty scrappy 5-1 defeat…or just another limp, **** didn’t think we could actually get any worse but hey look at us scraping those brand new lows 5-1 defeat.
No thought pains me more. The only thing that could possibly make up for it some day, is if he becomes the England manager after Southgate. Will be hard for the FA to pull him away from Newcastle though while the going is good.
I think about him often. He even looked in his first stint at Bournemouth. edit: just realised that sounds a bit weird.
I hand on heart, couldn't give any less of a **** about this game. Just as likely lose 6-0 as 1-0. Unbelievable that fans are going to travel that far for this shower of crap. Another set up not to lose Selles masterclass incoming
