I know it's easy to say Joelinton now because we're on good form and his form has picked up as well, but Miggy's work rate throughout most of the season has been great, and his scoring run when we weren't scoring a great deal of goals was vital. He's won us so many vital points with his goals, scoring in 1-0's, 2-1's, 3-0's etc. It's difficult to pick.
Big Joe for me, he's very consistent, Miggy can go from sublime back to the Steve Bruce version of him we all remember.
Big Joe for me. Offensively and Defensively he's been outstanding, absolute tank in the midfield and a great engine as well. 36 games and 11 goal contributions from CM is a great return, scored more this year from CM than he did while playing up top for 2 years...
Plenty of possible candidates - Joelinton, Botman, Isak, Bruno, Almirion, Wilson and Pope all spring to mind For me: 1. Joelinton 2. Bruno 3. Botman 4. Pope 5. Isak
Longstaff for me. Most consistent performer. Noticeable that the one time we rest him we get stuffed by Villa.
Bit unfair at this very moment on Miggy as he had a poor game last night. For me it has to be Bruno - when he doesn't play we don't get wins.
I agree with this actually. The kid is the glue that keeps it all ticking. the perfect combination of Joelinton Longstaff and Bruno means we control midfield very well and all three have legs. Willock also chips in with quality aswell.
T Totally agree. The difference with Bruno and without Bruno is the biggest indicator as to who is needed most. Plus he's one heck of a player.
Special mention to Bruno... when doesn't play... we don't. He's our heartbeat and the stats back that up. We need another Bruno so the team can be carried on more shoulders.
He definitely deserves a mention. Big Joe is our best player most weeks though. In terms of vital to the team's success Bruno is the most critical cog as we don't really have anyone who can fulfill that role he does for the team. We are able to rotate easier in the wide midfield positions. Certainly on the left.
