No chance of a points deduction. For a start it's Coventry, who appear to do what they like, when they like irrespective of any rules. For another, the EFL would only ever implement a points deduction if it didn't matter, unless they couldn't avoid it. They are useless, amateur job keepers. So, £20 fine it is, and they'll probably do the same next season.
Don't know if I'm missing something here, but unless West Brom win tonight, our fate is in our hands. If we win our 2 remaining games, the only team that could overtake us is Milwall who would have to win their 2 remaining games scoring 4 more goals than we do when we win ours. Am I wrong?
Spot on mate, massive game again tonight! Regardless I reckon if we win our two we'll be in the playoffs one way or another but that's opinion not fact!
You aren’t the only one mate. I really couldn’t care less about going up, and if we do you will hear nothing but moaning about the owners the management and players from every one who wanted us to.
I’d be very happy having another progressive season here, more of this beautiful football, really installing the winning mentality, and taking us to automatic next year,
If we could guarantee it I’d take another year here progressing with a few additions but your guaranteed nothing in football, Huddersfield got to the final last year lost a couple of key players and plummeted
I think you forgot about Coventry like I did in my post last night. Them and Blackburn could still finish above us even if we win both our games, pushing us to seventh. But we've got it to the point the where if we win all our remaining games, then so does everyone else.
Blackburn have the same points and games as us. If we win both our games we'll finish in the top 6 because of our goal difference. (Assuming West Brom dont win tonight)
I believe this is correct, Coventry may well finish above us but Blackburn would have to win their games scoring at least 15 goals more than their opposition in the process to beat us on goal difference, a tad unlikely I think.
This is what I was thinking, but I now think Snaggey's post from last night is right. If West Brom Don't win tonight that helps a ton, but Coventry and one of Blackburn or Millwall could still get above us (?) But if you were doing the odds I think we would be shortest odds out of this pack to get in looking at the remaining games. edit: good point about Blackburn. Makes the Millwall game on Friday even more huge.
City arsenal. Hoping for a classic. I have been wanting Arsenal to win this title but in the last couple of months City have been borderline perfect. Either would be worthy champions. Do fancy city though. Wouldnt be surprised if they put them to the sword a bit tonight. Hope I am wrong and Saka is unplayable - love that lad.
Just use the website usually mate, I’m dreadful with technology so don’t use vpns or anything like that
