Agreed. Though Newcastle might want to offload him in the summer completely.

I think spending a couple million quid on a ball-winner would be prudent. I don’t think we should spend loads on wingers. We spent a bit on Sinik last summer and it hasn’t really paid off. You can sign a decent winger or two on loan from a PL club. I’d like Reda Khadra. I also don’t think we should spend loads on a striker unless we sell Óscar for 8 figures.

You heard anything about who we’re looking at, especially defensive mids?

If Newcastle want to move him on then there's potential that they may pay up his contract or potentially sweeten the deal for him, which could again be a win win. I doubt Darlow ( or anyone for that matter ) would be willing to just walk away for a significant amount of money they are contractually obliged to receive.

As far as wingers go, I definitely think we should try to sign Ogbene in the summer. He’s out-of-contract in the summer and he’s been Rotherham’s best player. Would be a far better option than re-signing Ebiowei on loan.

I'd lose all respect for Rosie, and Tan for that matter, if we sign Ebiowei in any capacity next season.

Is he a left footer? For me we could do with a left footer to replace Ebiowei and a replacement for Pelkas/Longman, with Vaughan featuring more. Ideally both who can take on a man.

i think we have to atleast enquire with barnes agent, and should a suitable financial package be attained, he'd be a truly fantastic signing

I don't know that I would go as far as that but I would consider it a total waste of money and a (one of 25, loan players under 21 count to the 25) squad place. I think he needs some more experience in under 21 games before any more EFL outings.

I read somewhere that we placed a bid for Berat Özdemir in the summer when he was still at Trabzonspor and he wanted to join us but Trabzonspor’s manager blocked the move. He then moved to Al Ittifaq in the Saudi league later on in the summer transfer window because he wanted to leave Trabzonspor. In the same interview, he was saying how he still wants to play in England or Europe whilst he’s in his best years. I wonder if we’ll go back in for him this summer. Though saying that, it’s the exact sort of transfer Acun would’ve tried whilst Shota was manager but it doesn’t strike me as a Rosenior transfer.

There’s a winger at Wolves who’s supposed to be good, recently signed a new contract & they’re looking to loan him out next season apparently. Whether he’s good enough for the Championship or not, I don’t know.

Chem Campbell, he's scored 3 in 13 after joining Wycombe on loan in January.

Traore isn't really a winger. Would expect him to be in line for the no10 shirt when everyone's fit and once the squad is a bit better balanced in summer.

Got to be looking at the other Palace young winger Rak Sayki for me. Tore it up for Charlton in league 1.

Not think it more likely we'll go back for La Fuente seeing as it was agreed but just missed the last transfer deadline?

Wouldn't be touching any more young Palace wingers with a bargepole tbh!
