They'd be embarrassing in the PL tbh, no idea how they were ever in contention.

Me neither, even if they draw then our fate is in our own hands ...

If West Brom don't win tomorrow, getting into the play-offs is in our own hands. Win the last two games!

Can the Boro do us a favour against Coventry ? with these results we could make it on Saturday
    Sheff U 1-0 WBA
    blackpool1-0 millwall
    Blackburn 0-1 Luton
    Sheff U 1-1 Preston
    WBA 1 v 1 Norwich
    goal difference could do it.

This match has suddenly become much more important ...
    • Sheffield United v Preston
... they could have nothing to play for on the last day.

Boro won't want to be beaten by Coventry, who they may have to face in the play-offs.

Agree, and there's so many 'key' games. I think someone pointed out earlier that if West Brom lose tomorrow, we then only need 4 points, barring big wins somewhere else.

I don't think that's right mind. What if Millwall or Blackburn win their last two...I know they both can't, but either one could.

Right, but if only of them wins the last two, then I think only one of them could catch us if we got 4 more points. 4 more points also means that Preston can't catch us. If Millwall and Blackburn both get 4 more points that's where and that's the goal difference part comes in. The three of us would have 69 points, and GD might do depending on Saturday.

And I don't think we can be mathematically eliminated on Saturday either.

After such a nuts season we go into the final game with something to play for. Unbelievable.
