    But that fat bastard has changed the name of our stadium to 'The Sports Direct Arena'...

    In the midst of all that talk we have been linked with another striker and I was just wondering what people's thoughts were on him. I'm not sure where this news stemmed from, but we are apparently readying a bid for Salomon Kalou in January.

    Positives

    - Has undoubted talent and always seems to play well for Chelsea.
    - Still at a good age, he turned 26 last August.
    - Runs out of contract in the summer, so we may be able to get him on the cheap.
    - Can play up front, just off a striker or even on the wing.
    - Proven he can cut it in the Prem when given a string of games.

    Negatives

    - Another player that will be unavailable during the African Cup of Nations.
    - Hasn't got the best goals per game ratio, but it would be interesting to see how many goals he has in his starts in the past few seasons.
    - May prefer moving to a team abroad.

    What do you think? Would you be happy if we signed Kalou?

    Got a few mates who are chelsea fans who don't rate him 1 bit so on that basis it is a no from me. Unless he's a free. Would be a decent squad player

    He is 5th choice striker at Chelsea and our strikers havent exactly been great recently. His first touch is awful, he has little creativity, he cant dribble, he doesn't score enough and his decision making is terrible.
