Lots of discussion about whether we would be better staying in the PL or going down and come back stronger.
For me, there is no guarantee that we would come back stronger, mainly because of the players we'd lose and the low fees we'd get for them compared to us staying up. Don't get me wrong, we need a complete overhaul of the squad but surely that would be an easier task if we stayed up, of course we'd need a much better DoF. Whispers now coming out that McKennie is a bad influence and is causing a rift in the camp, part of the reason Juve couldn't wait to get shut, regardless where we are, this overrated joke of a footballer needs to go.

So we go down, who do we get to keep.
    Robles
    Ayling
    Cooper
    Cresswell
    Struijk
    Kristensen
    Firpo
    Roca
    Greenwood
    Dallas
Forshaw- they'll probably give him a new contract
    Bamford
    Roberts
    Shackleton
    James
    Some kids to come through
    Gray
    Perkins
    Gyabi
    Joseph
    Hjelde.

    Possibles
    Rutter
    Harrison
Drahma but would want to be first choice

    They'd want out
    Adams
    Gnonto
    Rodrigo
    Koch
    Wober
    Aaronson- needs to go regardless
    Meslier
    Llorente
    Sinisterra
    Summerville
Doesn't make great reading and regardless what division we're in, we need a rebuild but that squad left certainly wouldn't be one to do a Burnley, even with a few additions. Then we have the problem of attracting a manager.

So we stay up who do we keep.
    New GK
    New RB
    New CB
    Wober
    New LB
    Adams
    New CM
    Sinisterra
    Gnonto
    Summerville
    New 10
    New striker..
    Squad players
    Robles
    Rutter
    Harrison
    Cresswell
    The 5 kids mentioned.
    The rest can go.

Regardless where we are, it's going to be a big job to stabilise the team.
If we don't stay up and do somehow manage to get promoted with that squad, it would take an even bigger rebuild the season after.
No matter how I read it, it makes for a depressing read.
But imo, we'd be better staying up.

Forget the gossip, purely on football ability, wtf does he keep getting picked.
Twat needs to be a ref, the way he ambles up and down the field without getting involved in the play

At the WC I thought he was poor, the other yank midfielder, who's name escapes me, was much the better player. They say don't play kids in our situation but Gyabi, would have to have the worst game of his life, to play as bad as this joke.

Actually, remember when O’Leary threw the kids in? This isn’t working so what’s to lose by giving them a go? Unless it breaks their confidence of course. Sorry, probably the ramblings of a madman at this point.

First half against Forest he actually looked decent, however the disappearing act then occured again and he's not been seen for the last 3 games. To be honest I'm not exactly sure what he's good at but 100% he's not a box to box midfielder and he'll never be a holding player either. That only leaves an attacking centre mid and for that again he doesn't have the skillset.

Probably a good player for someone but wrong for us.

Yunus Musah. 20 year old. Plays for Valencia.

Great player. Me and my mate Milky picked him out at the WC and also wished we'd have got him instead of McKennie when McKennie was announced.

Fair play and a good call <ok>

Most of us myself included thought McKennie would be a quality addition and it just hasn't worked out that way. However you can only sign players that are available and I guess we'll never know if your man could have been brought in.

To be clear, I wasn't disappointed with McKennie, just that Musah would be the driving attacking midfielder we crave. Adams, McKennie and Musah as a trio were arguably one of the best midfields in the World Cup.

The USA like many of the African nations have really good players but lack the creativity in the 8 and 10 positions and that's what ultimately lets them down.

That said Pulisic is a player with better technical ability than most but his goals and assists just don't stack up.

Agree with most of this except I’d expect Harrison, Drameh, Rutter, James & possibly even Bamford get picked up by lower table PL teams or foreign leagues. Wouldn’t even be surprised to see Kristensen, Firpo, Struijk and Roca get picked up by someone as they’ll all be on PL wages. Honestly wouldn’t be bothered about anyone leaving though, the only players I’d keep if we’d stay up are Wober, Adams, Gnoto, Summerville, Sinisterra & Harrison. Probably even Cooper as a thought we looked better at the back with him and Wober but hard to help more when you’re alongside Koch, Kristensen and Meslier atm.

We need to stay up and rebuild though. But hell of a rebuild now either way. Looking like we’re down when you look at our run in compared with others unfortunately especially with how we’re playing.

I wouldn’t care who left if we went down but we’d lose no more than 3-4 first team players. Adams would be the obvious one followed by Meslier, Wober possibly the third and Gnonto who’d probably be loaned back.

Looking at clubs who go down when financially sound they just don’t lose 7-8 players. Even Fulham held on to Mitrovich

This is what’s wrong with the team since Bielsa left:

Adams: “However, the player was given leave from his rehabilitation at Thorp Arch this month, visiting Lake Como with his partner, suggesting an imminent return is highly unlikely.”

Yes he’s injured but he should be watching the team cheering them on, offering support. The same as players being allowed to travel to Monte Carlo to watch tennis.

We’ve assembled a bunch of over paid individuals who have no love or care for the team they’re playing for, no care for the situation we are in.

Adams might be our best player, he might be injured but he should be at the club lending support

Gessa you think 15 players will stay if we get relegated? I think you're being very optimistic.

TBH I hope we go down in a month's time. I'm sick of it, sick of the manager, and sick of the players. We go down and we get rid of them all and start afresh
