Yes from me. I think he is very good olayer, plenty to learn, but his attitude is class. I would bet Mowbray is pushinh for him to sign, the player you want to coach.

I suppose it all depends if Leeds stay up.

I would have him back because he's shown a lot of improvement in the last few games.

I think he has high upside, would love permanently and even think another loan would be good.

Id use him more as a no10, he would be class with stewart imo

Depends if Leeds let him go, how long is left on his contract?

Would like to sign him if possible

Speakman will be like a kid in a sweetie shop this summer surely. Our stock must be through the roof to get young talent through the door.

Well be had his detractors when he first came and he didn't hit the ground running banging in goals which shows the unreal impatience some of our fans suffer from.
Lately you can see a marked improvement in his involvement in each game, scoring a couple of goals has helped and he had a really good game today despite being kicked at every opportunity.
I'd have him back as a 10 and as has been said him and Stewart if he stays and gets fit could be excellent for us next season.

If we started the season with Stewart, Simms and Gelhardt I'd be more than happy.
Gelhardt has been excellent in the last month

He's playing with an ankle injury as well according to Mowbray and still getting whacked like he did today. Says a lot for the lads character imo.

Only as a 10. Not as a 9. I think Leeds might come down so don't see it.

No idea if we could sign him or not but I would definitely sign him if possible.

Great attitude on him, fits in with our style of play, right age and has plenty of quality. He's even winning over people who wrote him off after barely giving him a chance.

    this pretty much.

Even if he signed I’d want two new strikers ideally. One can be younger and for the future. Another ready to start now alongside him and Stewart.

But if Leeds come down it’s not happening anyway.

Gelhardt is playing better now than when he first arrived, undoubtedly. So he has demonstrated that he is capable of learning and improving. It could also be said that leading the line is not his strength, so this has not been a fair trial.

My 'but' is he is not that quick, is not a good dribbler and he is very left footed.

So I am not 100% for him, but can see the arguments others are making.

I would agree like. He hasn't show he can strike it cleanly consistently too. I think Broadhead is a better player. Just my opinion.
