Literally can’t see it. Genuinely think the majority are mentally checked out. no hunger there when you are still going to get fed without having to hunt for anything.
Looks like this was a wise decision. I don't intend to watch them again until next season. No reason my kids deserve me in a bad mood over the weekend thanks to this overpaid shower of ****e.
For me it is all down to the manager and players. I watched the Sevilla v Man U game midweek. On paper we have players equal to the Sevilla players ( including Lamella and Gil ). But look at the shift they put in. Enic don't pick the team or give the team talk. Enic don't play on the pitch.
Can we take Kulusevski off for Danjuma at half-time? He's been awful, again. Doesn't look fit and hasn't all season.
The majority are not coping that's for sure. We have to protect our younger players from our wrath they are the future.
He’s one of the few I have a connection with. Lloris, Son and Kane the others, they’ve given this club their best years and long service. I’ll forever respect them as they could’ve easily demanded transfers for much bigger moves over the years, just as Carrick, Berba, Modric and Bale all did - all of whom’s decisions massively paid off. Instead they remained loyal and their loyalty has been betrayed in my opinion. Those three don’t deserve to be in such a shambles of a team and club, whilst Skippy’s always played for the shirt whenever he’s had his chances, which is hardly a surprise considering his connection too it. Anyway, I’ve switched off now. Better things to watch.
Hang on, let me get the calculator out ...yup, that's the minimum of 45 minutes, so he's only a couple of matches short of triggering that clause now
True but it stems from ENIC. There is no culture of excellence at the club, no sense of accountability. No ruthlessness. No feeling that settling for second best is just not good enough. When you have a chairman emphasising things like a nice stadium and lots of 'good moments' as well as not really differentiating between levels of European football as it is all "international competition", what do you expect? We have over half a dozen players out on loan most of whom we're trying to sell, plus players coming to the ends of their contracts who want out. The likes of Dier know that they aren't going anywhere this summer. The queue for the exit is simply too long.
