I probably could have listed every player tbf, some didnt play that well today but every single one of them put there body on the line for us
I think Neil and Hume are close enough then they could get a move. The other 3 we will have a fight on our hands I think. Hope if we don't go up the powers that be at the club decide keeping them 3 players and going for promotion will be worth more in the long run!
I said the same thing after the Cardiff win. Westbrom bullied us at home earlier in season...look how far these kids have come. I'm truly impressed and very proud of them!
****ing unbelievable that. What a game, what a performance. So proud of this team. Tough as nails for a bunch of young lads. I hope the fans there have had a ball.
Not ashamed to admit that I've got a lump in my throat after watching that game. Absolutely love this club!
There were no Injuries and very little time wasting as it appeared that both teams wanted to win. I was shocked too mind a I expected this ref to put 8 up!!
I don’t really care what happens next. This is my favourite Sunderland side ever. It beats Reid era, it beats Keane era, it beats the 7th place PL finish era. Heart. Skill. Intent. It’s everything.
What really impressed me today was the composure on the ball. These kids (and i say that as we have the youngest squad in the division) just ooze confidence. I honestly think they'd play the same way regardless of the opposition and that's a damn good thing moving forward
Them dropping for every touch as well was laughable. Elliott embleton will be fit for the play off final i hope going for a record 3 consecutive play off wins( IF HE CAN GET INTO THE TEAM), nice to play Luton and save the Boro for Wembley. been the best away watch i have seen on the telly with 10 away wins amazing, could be one more. Cirkin man of the match.
