    Scottish Grand National a week after Aintree. I’m sure the gap is usually bigger than that. Anyway Mighty Thunder ew @ 22/1 to keep Lucinda smiling. Rated 20 odd lb lower than when winning this 2 years ago. Recent runs suggest he still has the appetite for the game. Good luck all.

    In the Bumper finalé at Ayr (17:20), a chance is taken with the Ol' Man River gelding, River Ayr. Ryan Mania on board for the R. Michael Smith yard.

    12/1 best price at time of writing, freely-available. E/W best option, of course.

    Brought down when still in contention. **** happens. What a lovely little horse Kittys Light is. Jumps like a skoda but stamina and desire in abundance.,

    Dettori changed the way British jockeys stood in their irons. He brought in a slanted iron with just , effectively, your big toe in the iron. Today the downside of that style may have been seen.
    So looked more to me as if Jockey lost Chaldean.
