The part I don’t get is the mad starting of Adarma, who has been nowhere near the team in ages. Very similar to the mad starting of Aribo last week. Che can’t get back quick enough.

I genuinely don't understand how these players go from being so far away from a first team squad, to the point they're playing for the b team, and then suddenly coming in and starting a game out of nowhere.

Even more bizarre when you see players like Djenepo & Mara, who have actually made an impact recently, not included in the squad at all.

Maybe Ruben found Ralph's old selection tombola.

If the other 4 teams down there lose today it's sort of a good point isn't it. Big if tho!

Waking up after that result and trying to work out how I feel about its been strange. I want to believe we can stay up but I know that this season we haven’t been able to perform well in two consecutive games. The United game and then the results after that being the most recent example.
The main positive I take from the result is that we managed it with, in my eyes, only ten men as I was initially appalled by Armstrong starting in the first place and then doing absolutely nothing.

Actually I noticed him defending once or twice
Which isn't really what I'd be aiming for from my No 9

    9 men?
Did Ely do anything except wander around

They seem to be managing Lavia's fitness, but you do wonder what the point of this is when it contributes to us conceding 2 late goals
On Charlie, he was our best attacking player and when he went off we ended up defending more, so whether replacing him with a defender is of any benefit, I'm not convinced - Going defensive to preserve a lead hasn't worked for us for quite a while now has it

Having a read of the Arsenal forums, they’re all “they took Alcaraz off, thank god” and “Alcaraz subbed? LOL!”

He is really a great player, just pray we can keep hold of him next season.

Obviously they forgot about Gabriel lying on the floor for 4 minutes feigning a head injury after heading the ball v Liverpool when they were 2-1 up. Glad you ****ed up their title charge, I used to like watching them, but under Arteta they have become a team of divers and injury feigners, constantly flopping to the ground after contact they've initiated. They should've had at least 2 bookings for diving yesterday.
Don't think you can survive tbh, I can see you reaching 33points max, but of the teams down there I think you're the most likely to bounce straight back.

I don’t think Che will be back, he has been trying to get out the club for a couple of seasons and this is his opportunity
However the clubs that all wanted him are all scrapping for their lives with us so if Leeds, Forest or Leicester survive he will be off like a shot

I find the price for you guys staying up crazy. 7-1 on Bet365. Looking at the table fixtures etc, imho it's way long.

Don’t be fooled by us giving a couple of top six sides a run for their money though. Against ordinary sides, we’re generally a bit ****.

Of course Ely is included in that and always is. I have always been puzzled how he has started so many games but it was the way Armstrong just came in from nowhere and started, then proceeded to do nothing and stay on the pitch for so long. Was Mara injured or left out of the squad? If it’s the latter then I am speechless.

Crooks is hilarious. JWP gets in his TOTW, totally ignoring Charly and Theo who were more deserving.
