And so it should you’re among the 12k who committed to a pass, and yes it’s great value compared to pay on the day, that why we do it, but when the owner is giving one offs cheap or free tickets, treat the committed now and then, a pint would cost him a quid each person, a coffee 10p
"City were in front after 41 minutes when Allahyar Sayyadmanesh's terrific glancing header from an Adama Traore corner capped a fine first half" Taken from a professional football reporters match report.... Who are we to contradict
If Andy Carroll had have scored this goal in 2010 everyone would have been saying 'look at this lad, he's gonna be leading the England line for the next ten years'. It was that good.
I feel you're missing the point I was making Steve, apologies if not. Yes, we give our money regardless and pay over the 12 months of the year which I am certain the club will be hugely grateful for. However if you breakdown what we pay it probably isnt much more if naything per game than some of the offer prices. But we are guaranteed our favourite seat, we know we are safely there if the club get promoted, we can get away tickets, we are able to use our membership to get free travel to away games. We pay for the privilage of having seats we can call our own, knowing someone wont grab them before we can. If a member doesnt feel that is a benefit then surely they might as well just become one of those people who buys a ticket whenever they wanna come? Just a side note, if you say on average a ticket costs £20 (I think they are more like £30 normally and currently at £15 so lets say £20) for an adult who buys per game that would mean paying £460 to attend all 23 home games this season. With my membership at £30 a month for 12 months I have paid £360. I am already saving £100 by not being a floater, a disloyal **** or a flapper or whatever we want to call them.
I’d rather see 20,000 plus in the ground even if it means tickets for a quid etc to non members. The yearly amount we pay is nothing really and hopefully a good percentage who turn up for the reduced prices games will then get a membership.
What are the 'TEAMCARD POINTS' ?...as a member the only thing that benefits me as I see it is giving me access to the dugout! Which is both double the price & waiting time then most city centre & near-by establishments!..simple solution is express Lane turnstile & concourse use, plus a few more staff engaged in them areas (Friday night rant done!!!)
I agree with nearly everything you said, and I’m not really saying cheap tickets are a bad thing, all the other benefits apart from Stoke with the free travel, every other club has them, it just seems like all the emphasis by the club has been put on fans who only come because the ticket is cheap.
yeah but how do they work for buying beer? genuine question. can you use your points from 10% of your shop purchases to buy beer on the concourse? part buy and top up with another card?
Yes. Just hand them your membership card and if you have enough points it’s cerveza gratis. After covid I had a couple of hundred quid on mine, didn’t pay for food and drink for best part of a season.
Thanks for the info AlRawdah, but never ever been asked for my membership card to obtain any discounts anywhere...I'll try 2moz & let you know
The club have already put on free travel from the East Riding villages. Not as if you will read about this in the local rag.
Passholders/members have had first dibs on the free travel to away games for two thirds of this season.
