A lineup so bad that there's no way we lose!

TBH I'm past caring about the team selections. I'll watch the match until we go 3-0 down after half an hour and then I'll switch off and enjoy the rest of my Friday evening.

I have no problem with AA if he has someone tall to head the ball onto him like Paul. Doesn't work with Walcott and Ely. Days like this make me think back fondly that we got to see players like Lambert and Pelle and sad that this is the current state of affairs. The last 3 games we have played no strikers and now we are playing the one who even when playing well for Blackburn scored on the wing when playing with an out and out striker.

    Adam Armstrong.

Just…. Just how did it come to this. I want to cry.

I’m not gonna lie though, absolutely all signs point to a Saints win now. Because it seems so improbable.

I'm waiting for him to sub off Charly at HT and bring on Orsic.

Is Mara injured? He did get one of those rare things for Saints, a few weeks ago. A goal! So not being in the squad, he must be injured?

Nah, he's being punished for getting one of those goal things.

The way he is treating our new signings is almost scandalous.

Not going to happen. This forward line have scored 5 between them. It’s taken all season too. 5 shots on target would be good.

Truly pathetic front line, assume he is just picking the players who want to play and not spending all their time looking for new clubs

It's almost like he has been told not to play them in case they get injured. SR aren't looking to recoup as much money as possible before ****ing off. Definitely not :bandit:

You're right - definitely not. He's most likely picked the players who have been the most committed in training.

Yeah, he definitely prioritizes hard work. Unfortunately, most people cut off the classic Nigelism...the full version is:

"Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard. Unless you're a front line of Mo Elyounoussi, Theo Walcott and Adam Armstrong, in which case talent can take a 90-minute nap because you're going to do **** all"

It's so random....there must be something weird at our club.

Crazily grasping at straws I'm kidding myself that it will work. Actually Dominic Raab is available, could've played him.

Horrific line up. Absolutely horrific. What’s the ****ing point?

Feel sorry for everyone that’s paid money to go

    Edit: selles is a genius

What has surprised me is that three consecutive managers have all picked Ely when he produces nothing….WHY?
    Doesn’t make sense to me
