Willock is a very good player but he has a lot to prove about his fitness and durability as a top player. That may well come at another club but we won’t be picking up a lot of dosh from him leaving. Some ManU youngsters are a stretch above themselves - I did read that Utd had some decision to make over Laird as his contract was running down. Johansen did well in his loan period and has been less rather than more since.
Things will undoubtedly move on after the Bristol game. Where, who and how remains to be seen.

    Decisive action on a player.
    Nothing to complain about here.

Nothing wrong with the manager being decisive about one of the players, although first and foremost the manager should be trying instill harmony amongst the squad and have a togetherness, just like the Championship winning squad.

Willock is expected to join Beale in Glasgow. He is occasionally a good looking player, but he isn’t really good because he is very inconsistent, for the majority of every season he’s been with us he’s been either injured or low on confidence. Perhaps Beale can get the best out of him, but a move to Scotland speaks of a wish for an easy life rather than serious ambition. **** him.

The stories coming out of the club are hideous. I don’t think many of us rate Ainsworth as a manager, or think he’s especially bright. His idea of man management is very dated and won’t work with the pampered twats who pass as professional footballers today, or some of them at least. But I think he’s a decent man, no one deserves childish idiots to be taking the piss when there is is very difficult job to be done. And those people sniggering behind his back, if they are, are simply cowards, who are also morons - do they not understand that clubs (though obviously not QPR) do character checks on prospective buys nowadays, and these blokes will fail - idle troublemakers who wilt under pressure.

Massive clear out not only needed to save cash, but to improve character.

Stoke may be good for a point. They have nothing to play for.

Win at home against Bristol City in last match?

I never said Willock would become a top player. He certainly isn't in the same stratosphere as Eze.
I think he'll look good in another team and obviously, yes, he needs to be fit. That other team could well be another Championship side.
Agreed that a move to Rangers would be lazy and prove nothing in such a poor league.
Who's taking the piss and sniggering behind Ainsworth’s back? Certainly not me.
Unfortunately, we didn't have the right personnel for his up and at 'em, long ball, scrapping style of football.
It was another poor appointment and Les really shouldn't survive all these poor appointments as Director of football.
Coaches lose players and dressing rooms often, but this may be some kind of record, although possibly the Critchley tenure can take that crown.
Yes, most players, especially THESE ****ers are pampered, selfish twats, but it's no surprise to me the way some have reacted to Ainsworth’s style, ridiculous interviews and of course, that cringing Haka.
Maybe, if we're relegated and he stays, Ainsworth can recruit enough of his kind of players to mount a promotion tilt, but **** me, it won't be pretty.
Having said all that, I don't care what the football looks like till the end of this season if we manage to stay up.

Willock, Laird, Johansen, Dickie are alleged to be taking the piss. My post was about the players and the rumours which I am increasingly inclined to believe, not anyone on here. Les is gone at the end of the season, according to these rumours/leaks.

when so called professionals take the piss out of their manager, they're really taking the piss out of us the supporters. I hope it all comes out in the open when we know our fate, and I hope those players are hung out to dry

Questioning tactics, training etc is one thing, but there's no excuse for taking the piss, especially the way these ****ers have played for most of the season.
Yes, I realised you meant the players.
I didn't realise they were behaving so childishly. Laird, especially can **** off and I'm glad Ainsworth has told him to.
    Mind you.....that Haka!

I suppose we don't know for sure how accurate the rumours are, but if Ainsworth really has expelled Laird, I suppose that backs them up.
    Les should go imo.

Johansen also dropped from the squad as ‘got a knock’ (obviously not from playing football); Willock on the bench but described by Ainsworth as ‘not fit’, Dickie dropped to bench as soon as an alternative, even the ultra fragile JCS, is available.

Laird’s contract at Man Utd is up this summer, I’ll be amazed if he isn’t released.

All of these players are an insult not only Ainsworth and the club but to the fans. We’ve all had bosses we didn’t like or respect. Real people knuckle down, get on with it, don’t let their colleagues down and take the first opportunity to move on if nothing changes, without having compromised their own performance. But real people don’t have ****ing agents in their ears all day.

We were talking about this in the pub before the game on Wednesday, marvelling at people who get very well paid for doing something we used to give 100% for every Sunday for nothing. They obviously don’t like the game, obviously only want the adulation, not the graft.

The info is sketchy, but the average League One wage is said to be between £1,700 and £2,500 a week. I hope to **** that we have clauses in contracts dragging all our players into that range. If they don’t like it they can **** off, they as well as **** management and a dysfunctional club, are responsible for us ending up there if we don’t fluke an escape.

Whilst I do not disagree with anything you mentioned SB but I liked Laird earlier this season,.
If you are playing well in a team then get told to stop playing football, instead hoof the ball as far up field as possible and do a dance instead of training, I’d be skeptical

People who aren’t performing well, Johansen & Dickie fall easily into this bracket, often start taking the piss out of others to try and divert attention from their piss poor performance and add piss poor attitude as well.
One has to go. The other has to buck up and get himself performing properly again.

But we all know that football isn't like most other industries.
Yes, the players are very well paid and should behave professionally at all times, but we all know that they have all the power these days and coaches regularly get shafted by player power.
I'm not saying this is right or justified, but Ainsworth really hasn't helped himself since arriving, forcing square pegs into round holes and trying ridiculous team building exercises.
Why should they "like" the kind of game Ainsworth coaches?
I agree that our predicament is down to flaky players, dodgy senior management, including terrible coaching appointments and Beale letting us down.
Unfortunately, Ainsworth looks like another mistake, but I don't blame him for where we are, just that I think he's out of his depth.
However, if we somehow stay up, by taking another 4 unlikely points, Ainsworth will at least be able to pick his own players to fit his style of play.

I think @Taffvalerowdy will confirm that Laird’s loans seem to follow a pattern - looks great for a couple of months then gives up.

Agree though, at the beginning of the season when he and Paal were getting forward with intent it was great to watch. Although it’s painful to admit I suspect Beale is a very good coach, to coax the performances we saw out of this bunch. I know it dropped off before he left (conveniently in a way) I’m pretty sure he would have turned it around, perhaps not to play offs but surely we’d be much better off than today. I’ll content myself with hoping that he loses all three games that matter where he is now - 2 down, one to go.

The thought of Dickie taking the piss out of anyone after his embarrassment of a season is a bit rich. And if Laird's Utd contract is up in the summer his total lack of effort recently is mind-boggling.

I know footballers are meant to be thick as pig **** but come on.

After a promising start Dickie’s season couldn’t have gone any worse. So bad it’s embarrassing.
