When he came, someone from a previous club said that he would have our players running around like headless chickens. I think they were right.
That's the end of this season then. What a turbulent season of pretty much dire football under three different managers. Next season's squad will look very different. I can't see Pedro, Sarr or Louza wanting to be here next season for starters. Wilder won't be here either if he has any sense.
I think we might have a few problems getting some of the existing ones moved on at a price that suits Pozzo.
Missed the game as at work . Couldn’t get the time off. Looks like our lot clocked out after 15 minutes ! Too easy for Cardiff once we let one in it seems .
It was the worst performance this season. And your summary is everything that happened. Their fans sang “Do-do-do, ****ing Useless” to us and we sang the same thing back agreeing with them.
There is a rumour that may be confirmed in the Watford Observer that from next season Manga will have total control of footballing matters including of course buying and selling players and manager recruitment and retention If Pozxzo did take s back seat and not interfere we might get somewhere in the next couple of years
Bit like Duxbury said Edwards was here long term to the W0.. We let one in and just collapse which is the worry as started well so you think we’d have some confidence or morale boost .
Nah, not really. Dogshite defending long before Bachmann was being called upon to perform the required miracles. The third, for all the crap that occurred before it, was an inspired finish. Almost, but not quite, as bad as Blackpool away.
Wilder gone all out on the players and club now so will probably be sacked in a day or two (or walk away ) Not the first manager to do so either so obviously they aren’t being listened to.
Going by the scoreline, I thought there may have been a second half improvement - but the comments here suggest I'm wrong? I spent £10 to watch the second half of a Highland League match - an enjoyable game with none of the schoolboy errors that were on display at The Vic. Am really lost for words - how on earth have we become so bad?
We huffed and puffed in the second half.... but just couldnt finish..... probably had three good chances that we couldnt put away too
Cardiff set up with a back five, that sometimes became a back six, and another bank of four or five in front of that. Whenever we have faced s team that has its first priority as not losing, we have struggled, not just last night, but throughout the season.
Half the problem is that we try to move the ball to create space, but it is too slow, or the ball is played behind/to the side of the player so they need to check...it just slows it all down....you can beat two banks of 5 (or 6 and 4) but you need to move the ball quickly and accurately.....this is something that we are largely incapable of doing.
