Newmarket 150 california gem 8s in places still ew i did manage to get 8s with 5 places earlier but generally 4places
Cali went well over c/d back in oct placing 2nd at 80s , Boughey has put the inform Stott in the plate and with conditions getting better this could be a big chance for them .

300 creative control 10/11 general not really worth it but i can not see it losing.
335 mostabshir really is unexposed here and out of the market leaders looks the value . mysterious flight was a beaten fav here over a shorter trip although they won in a good style in woodbine and the foxes was a good c/d winner lto . Mostabshire won first time out at Kempton as a 2yrold and was logged for a very impressive strong run . Gosden is in good form and fairs well here , Crowley has been put in the plate again who is operating at above 47% s/r with Gosden. 10/3 on offer looks very fair in what will be a good marker for them.

515 monopalise at 14s ew this looks an awkward 7f with quite a few untested on the track , monopolise was tested at c/d as a 2yrold in soft conditions and won the downside is they carry a bit more . The upside is 5 places and hopefully they will be close enough to take one.

Off to the real HQ today, none of this sheikhs and sharp suit ****.

It is mares day, which no doubt will have QM moaning about diversity or if any of them identify as male or binary.

However, for me it is in interesting card for the future, the bumper looks moderate enough for Cheltenham standards and the hurdles races will hopefully show decent horses to follow next season in the much improved mares schedule.

If I had to put one up, it would be Effernock Fizz at a price in the second (2:05). She is top weight which I don't mind and I really liked her effort at the course in October when finishing a long way ahead of Editeur Du Gite. She was outclassed in the Arkle and then ran ok to a point back over hurdles at Plumpton. I take it as a positive that they are back out and over fences against her own sex I think she could lead them a merry dance.

Sean Bowen is back on, as he was when she last won, and I think today she is overpriced.

Quite like the look of the 2x Jonjo runners bookending the meeting today...

    1:30 - Dollar Bae, 8/1
    5:00 - Mellificent, 10/1
    2:05 - Effernock Fizz, 8/1

Put them in with the 2:05 selection Nass put up for a nice e/w patent...<ok> <cheers>

Interesting card at Newmarket today. I love the races with unraced and/or unbeaten runners

Creative Force should walk the 3.00 if anywhere near fit but can't understand why Commanche Falls is 22/1

3.35 looks competitive but the way Mysterious Night won at Woodbine just tips the scales for me

Can't be having Propense at 6/4 in the 4.10. After finishing second to Commissioning one would have expected a good run next time out but showed no improvement and was soundly beaten at 1/4 by 18/1 newcomer Stenton Glider. Although that winner hasn't been seen since, so I suppose she could have bumped into another smart one. In her favour is that she is impeccably bred and is trained by SM, who does not rush his 2yos. Even so, 6/4 is skinny odds and I would prefer to risk the 4/1 for Brittania who, on debut last year, was a very close 5th of 12 to Karsavina who ran well yesterday in the Nell Gwynn after dwelling at the start

In the 4.45 I'll just be watching unfancied newcomers Prince Maxi and Golden Delite

In the first nothing stands out; just leaning towards Kerdos but not a betting race for me

Crap run. Certainly not a betting race. 28/1 outsider wins (who got within 8l of Blackbeard over C&D at 250/1 in the G1 Middle Park stakes lto). Didn't even look at that one. With the usual hindsight, on that form, that surely was an ew bet at those odds <doh>

Apart from Commanche Falls (just failed by a nk to get up)

Apart from that, I'm glad I'm not there having a few bets. On this form, Propense should bolt up <laugh>

Excellent run by Indestructible even if the race wasn't run to suit him. Looks certain to be a 8f horse despite being by Kodiac (out of an Aga Khan owned filly by the way). This form must make Chaldean's connections very optimistic.

Indestructible's win was just short of 3 seconds faster than the Wood Ditton. Cut from 100/1 into 14s for the Gns
