Blackburn have lost as many games as Rotherham Luton have scored less goals than Swansea Boro have conceded more goals than Cardiff Blackburn have scored less goals than Rotherham Sunderland have scored more goals than four of the teams above them All of this means ... ...f**k all
Then go support a club in the top six of the premier and you will be happy ( and so will everybody else on this forum)
The truth is that some fans are never happy ... ... the are are Man City fans raging, on their forums, that they've fallen behind Arsenal.
Have been convinced for a long time he has some sort of mental disorder, I'd guess something on the autism spectrum. Everything's black and white to old Monty, there's no such thing as nuance. We're either the best thing since sliced bread or the board, manager, and all players should be sacked . I think he's good for the board, as long as people don't take him too seriously
Late catching up on posts following last night but people are entitled to their opinions. Various good posters have expressed their views in a very forthright manner and that’s fine. It’s also fine for others, myself included, to express their frustration that we’ve repeated the same mistake of not addressing the glaring weaknesses in leaving our midfield to be overrun in the second half until the damage was done. I’d agree that we also missed some sitters and that Diallo should have had a couple of goals himself. It’s not throwing the towel in to complain about our dropping of points in that manner. We can be criticial and still be supportive of the team. With the right selection, subs and also better execution by those on the pitch at the time the play-off positions were there for the taking last night and remain only a distant possibility now. Ultimately though, last nights result and the outcome of tonight’s matches will go a long way to determining our season. The transfer window in January has been done to death and doesn’t need revisiting here. The young squad has done us proud this season of that there is no question and they will be the better for the experience. It’s food for thought that this time last year Huddersfield were a couple of poor decisions away from success in the playoffs and then lost their best two players and are now fighting for their lives.
Excellent post mate. We all love this club, in our own ways. I bet we would all get on over a few jars as well. Last night saw mistakes from players and coaches alike. It happens. They are humans. The good news they are representing us and I wouldnt swap any of them personally. They have made me, an exile, able to talk with pride again about my side and club. I have a good mate, down here, who is a mag. He is a great lad, and thinks we are a hell of a side and on the right track. Says a bit to be honest because he has been a bit sympathetic last few years and I have hated that tbh.
Cheers mate. I’ve been exiled for nearly 25 years now and work restricts attendance at games to a handful of games per season currently but hoping to change that later this year. I’d agree that vast majority on here are fair minded and care for the club and the city and I think most would be great to enjoy a beer or two with.
This was the point I was trying to make, below. I was critical but haven't said we have no chance. At this time of year anything can happen and none of our rivals have a much better chance than us imo. Of course the current scores will change but, who knows, we might all feel better after tonight ... ... and our win on Sunday.
Aye, we’ll see how it pans out. Hopefully enough of the results go our way tonight and and then we take care of things at our end in the remaining games. This might be our best chance of promotion in the short/medium term and we need to give it everything we have.
Always was mate. Last night didnt change Sunday. If anything less pressure. I am already on the fishermens friends to make sure my voice is at the max.
