I wouldn't have played Pritchard alongside Neil either but tonight we've had 6 players missing for one reason or another. Mowbray's made a decision and only he knows the reason for that. Yes we've drawn against a side battling relegation which people on here - me included - thought would sit back and play for a point and they did anything but
very poor tonight apart from odd flash we didn’t deserve to win point better than nothing hopefully we can win the last 3 games
Stoke fans want their manager out ... ... would anyone want him here. "Apart from a purple patch in March we’ve been utter shyte under AN this season, has to go for me as that was an embarrassment tonight , thousands of Stoke fans feeling the same."
It was unlikely we would win all our remaining games......same with the other teams.....as Smug clearly pointed out ffs we are still right on the front door here of the play offs. Huge game on Sunday so we are still in the thick of it....faint hearts win f*ck all......love these games me....let's go to West Brom and take them apart....HTL!!!!
Performance not the best, but considering all the injuries there's no shame in that result. This is a Huddersfield side who have taken points off of Blackburn, Watford, Boro, Milwall and Norwich in their last few games, don't forget. Playoffs still well in our own hands.
Even if we score a fluke, totally against the run of play, it still gets you three points ... ... if we were a point off relegation would people just accept we were going down. Thankfully our support at West Brom won't be giving up, nor will the players.
Alex neil come back these owners ruined our chances when he left, come back this smoggy is chuffed that the Boro are going up he does not want us in the frigging play offs what a fix, or get dicanio back he had passion ****e until the end this lot i want my season card money back.
There’s a reason no one has touched Di Canio since he left us, no one would have done any better than Mowbray has with all the obstacles he’s had to overcome although I agree he got it so wrong tonight but that’s life
Its still been a great season..We've played the majority of the season without a recognised striker and a sizeable injury list. Regardless i'm a very happy Sunderland supporter
Yeah I would agree. It's been a super season and some players have developed into strong championship ones.
If we end up on about 65 points and in the top ten it will have been a season far exceeding expectations. Playoffs would be nice, but we're nowhere near ready for the PL and it would be just our luck to fluke promotion, end up needing to spend a hundred million quid, not stay up, crowd and board unhappy, and then we've restarted the cycle of misery from a decade ago. Aim for 80 points next year and see where that takes us. We need a bit more depth, a bit more physicality and a bit more experience. It's time to evolve the model.
Still think there’s nothing to fear next season, the 3 coming down are in for a shock if they think they’ll go straight back up, 2 games a week and premier league arrogance doesn’t bode well, burnley are the exception they’ve spent money but spent it wisely feel the others will either spend little or scatter gun it
Can’t get my head round how fans on here fawn over the likes of Brighton and Brentford, yet we have done the same thing in our first season, with our main players on long term injuries and all they do is criticise.
