I'd view that as a message with merit, one that offers reasonable advice. 'Pozzo Out' on the other hand offers nothing - at the very least it could state why, even though many may understand the why. It's rather like being interviewed by the media and being asked why you're unhappy - and responding with 'Pozzo Out'. It doesn't really get a sensible message across.
No - like when you say x manager out without offering any alternatives and reasons. I mean can see why people are unhappy of course and clearly there are issues but the Pozzos going won't suddenly mean we turn back into a side with players performing well and winning games just like that. Afterall the same players would still be here and any club with any owner can sign good or bad players. Yes the managers might get a chance to be here longer term but as we all know fans are just as fickle - doesn't matter who the owners are if they are on a bad run. What everyone wants is a good owner, decent team and useful manager. Mind you these days if you have the last 2 they soon get poached or targeted.
https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...-uninhibited-fan-views-pozzo-banner-incident/ And there are fairies at the bottom of my garden! Watford FC appear to believe that their supporters are very guillible. This club statement reminds me of the "rule of 11" explanation when 'Cucho' Hernandez was sold.
U21s won 3-1 at Birmingham this evening - Blake (2) and Collins scoring. Sierralta played for an hour. Morris taken off injured. Unnamed trialist in the starting line up - could have been this guy. https://www.southwalesargus.co.uk/sport/23455332.newport-countys-evan-cadwallader-trial-watford/
“This was the first time Leeds conceded six goals in a home league match since a 6-1 loss to Watford in the 2012-13 Championship under Neil Warnock” Remember this ?
I'm sure there was a highlights video in which the camera kept panning to Warnock doing a funny little dance as the goals flew in...
Tried to find it on YouTube but mysteriously missing, guess we cant be seen as doing as well as Liverpool against Leeds
Innocent till proven guilty and all that but guess the club will be watching this closely. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2023/apr/19/watford-mogi-bayat-football-agent
The murky world of football transfers. I guess agents are a necessity, but they do appear to make far too much money - a lot of which comes from the fans - and where large amounts of money are involved, dubious dealings are also involved. How to regulate it though?
Chris Wilder is favourite to be appointed as the new Hearts manager. If he is appointed, no doubt the media will claim that he could only take the job because we sacked him.
The club says it is disrespectful to talk about Wilder's successor, but apparently Wilder would seem to be spending time talking with other prospective employers while still employed full time by WFC, and being paid for that time. It's a funny old game!
He hasn't been talking to Hearts - he is only the bookies' favourite. Probably based on a connection he had with the club last season.
All I would say with this Pozzo out stuff that whilst he and others have made errors getting new owners won’t mean everything will be automatically perfect again . Still need to recruit well and appoint a manager up to the job expected of him . Guess they might get a longer term chance to impress but we have had 2 good ones on paper failing to the get results demanded
