That's not how it works and if a manager took the view that he pick players for games that were not performing in training on potential or purchase price over those that were showing in train that they deserved to start then he would soon lose the changing room and all team cohesion would go. I'm really fed up with the view of a lot of fans that some how every thing that goes wrong on the pitch is down to the manager. Tzolis has got similar game time / chances under Farke, Smith & Wagner. All 3 managers seem to have pretty decent people management skills, none of them have a reputation for treating players unfavourably for any thing other than footballing reasons. On the balance of probabilities looking at all the available information the issue seems to be down to Tzolis. We all want Tzolis to come good and shine, we all want him to do well and become one of the first names on the team sheet, but just because we hope that happens, doesn't make it so. At the end of the day he needs to be making the case for him starting in every training session, I don't doubt that if he does that he will start. To suggest that he should get something without earning it, on the back of a hope or a feeling is foolish.
