McLaughlin Seri Slater. Mentions too for young Vaughan making his debut. He is lodging with a friend of mine and he told me three months ago that this lad is something special. Tonight he showed it. This was a very good team performance and no-one let the shirt down against a very physical side. So, for me, very impressive and well done. UTT.
McLaughlin. Rock at the back again magnificent Seri. Helped to really control parts of the game for us, excellent passing Slater. All over the pitch today, could/should of scored though Overall excellent team performances
McLoughlin Darlow Slater Nod to Coyle for another solid performance playing through the pain barrier, and to Vaughan who looked a prospect when we actually chose to give him the ball, without it but looked what he is, a young kid against men. V surprised Rosenior started him and kept him on so long tbh, but fair play to Vaughan, he wasn't overawed and did look 'a baller' when in possession

Totally agree . Mcloughlin - a rock at the back . He just gets better . Seri and Slater - solid displays from both with endless endeavour. Harry Vaughan was excellent with the ball , some intelligent passing that split their defence . Hopefully a star for us in the future. A well earned point . Well done boys Come on City
Coyle, thought he did well at both ends, seems to be carrying an injury though. McC - Thought he did well, put his body in the way a lot. Slater - Did well at both ends, helped move the ball. Thought Vaughn did well on his debut. Looked comfortable & made some nice passes & runs with & without the ball.
McLoughlin - A Rock in the heart of the defense Slater - Gets better every game. What an engine !! Coyle - Gave a 110% despite injury Honorable mention - Vaughn great debut - one for the future. Get rid of lazy Ebiowei -
McLoughlin - Wall Slater - Broke the play up well, moved the ball well. Need him to take a leaf out of Traore’s book sometimes in the final third though too safe sometimes. Traore - Calming figure, pressed so cleverly and hardly ever makes mistakes. My early shout for next seasons POTY, touch wood on injuries
Macca Slater Coyle/Seri A mention in dispatches for young Harry Vaughan. Needs to harden up a bit, but a very promising debut.
Macca Slater Coyle. (A few could have been 3rd, but playing obviously in pain he deserves to edge it)
Mclaughlin - withstood everything thrown at him, a really brave and professional display, and not without skill the way he kept stepping out of defence instead of hoofing it. Well done, top display that. Coyle - he is often berated, and yes he may be a tad limited when asked to do the passing game, but you can't deny the lads courage, playing with an obvious injury but defensively stood up, and often against 2, but never gave an inch. Captain courageous ! Seri - the man is such a steadying influence, calm and composed, for me he is probably our player of the season. Slater, Elder and Darlow were also excellent, and young Vaughan after he got out of the gaze of the headlights showed us all the potential he has in the second half. Cracking team performance.. well done lads
