Only one I disagree with here is Tall Paul.
It’s not his fault he was signed. He’s giving it his best so far with very limited chances and ****ing abysmal tactics.

Have you ever known a club sign a new star target man and then not set up the team for him to score goals?

Yet another ****ing ludicrous decision by the imbeciles running Southampton.

Even sir rickie would struggle surrounded by these ****ing bell ends

Yeah I knew we’d be pretty high up in that list. I wouldn’t call it a particularly big thing when trying to determine club size though personally. There are much more important things that count more

Lots of clubs outside the PL that are bigger?? SFC has quite a large catchment área with well over a million living within 25 miles of the Stadium. OK, there will be overlaps with neighbouring clubs. I'm not sure that the likes of Derby or Sheffield United are that much bigger in terms of support as they have to.compete with similar sized clubs for support. There are undoubtedly a plethora of similar sized clubs that.at any given moment.appear
huge, at other times less so. I'm sure support for SFC grew during the period in the Journey from.League 1 up.to.and including the season when SFC appeared in the League Cup.final. Since then it must have shrunk with youngsters choosing City, United, Liverpool.or Arsenal as opposed to.SFC in the South Hampshire área.

Sportsfuckup thanks for your knowledge and complete incompetence particularly when it comes to managerial appointments, you and your colleagues have, without doubt brought a once proud football club from the most elite football league to a laughing stock.
All the work, love and financial support that Markus Leibherr gave us is now ruined in less than a year under your stewardship.
An incompetent group of very well paid individuals have to answer questions,
Can any of them possibly remain in control after this shambolic season? Hang your head's.

To.some extent I feel your pain, but for me that is madness. I think you would get more joy following Lincoln City, or driving down to P'boro. It's a matter of supporting your team while enjoy that of another, or complete folly spending all that time, energy and money watching a ****show.

I stopped watching MOTD a long time ago, then I started watching highlights on YouTube to see how bad our defending was. Now I don’t even bother watching highlights. The next step is not checking the scores (I’m not quite there yet).

It’s disappointing because my son is 8 and I wanted to take him to more games this season. I won’t pay the club money to watch this bunch of ****s.

I actually feel like I’m drifting towards being a casual fan, which is sad.

We spend all that money on experienced players but with potential and then spend bargain bin basement on managers. Makes no sense and we deserve to be going down

I forgot all about that. One of the many, many lowlights of this season.

Generally I don't believe things like this but supporting Saints for a very long time has convinced me it is true - I must have been very evil.

It intrigues me as to who the fans deem to be culplable. I am not sure that I would agree with this list. Elynoussi seems to get alot of stick yet by the same token, I have not been aware of the same level of vitriole levelled at Stuart Armstrong who I feel as been anonymous this season. The criticism of Walcott amazed me as I feel he has been the most professional player on the squad since Selles took charge. Likewise. Alvaraz and Sulemana have also provided some optimism. I am not really convinced that AMN has been a bad acquisition either.

The problem all season has been goalscoring and playing the Aribo up front today did not solve the issue. It looked a good decision on paper whilst in practice it was not effective. He seems symptomatic of the problem with this year's squad. He is a journeyman player who would have been a good addition to a decent squad yet looks average amongst his less-than-impressive team-mates. As far as Tall Pall is concerned, I feel sorry for him not getting game time yet, of what I have seen, I keep thinking about Paul Moody in the dark days of Ian Branfoot.

Without doubt SR must carry the can for this season. They inherited the mess last January and have effectively spent £150 million making it worse. I think that Selles has shown he cannot continue next season and would also argue that SR's inability to call all the big decisions correctly is demonstrative of a management team who are woefully inept. The way we have gone down this season with such apathy has effectively undone all the good work since our promotion and created a culture where the non-playing staff have left due to a lack of confidence in SR's methods and the collation of a blouted playing staff that is inferior to last season's. I am surprised that the crowd has not been more hostile towards them as they have consistently proved themselves to be incompetent for the last 15 months.

I don't buy the nonsense about Saints being a Championship club. We are a Premiership Club in status and I would add a club with a particular culture as to how the game has changed. Under SR, the tenets of attacking football have become a thing we pay lip-service too. I do not feel SR are capable of managing any English club at PL level let alone running it in a fashion that meets the expectations of fans such as those of Southampton. They are out of their depth and, as a former boss used to say, do not know what "good" looks like at this level.
