Where is Armstrong? Goes away to play for Ireland under 19s never to be seen again. He was our last desperate roll of the dice to run around like a maniac and cause mayhem
Not been able to follow closely this afternoon so just got goal updates and read through this thread. The inconsistency and attitude of this team is infuriating. I don't want to keep harping back to the past, but it's hard not to wonder if they all saw what Beale did and immediately lost any sense of commitment/willingness to give 100%. In October, getting to this stage of the season with relegation fears was unthinkable, but what should be done? Remaining positive and keeping spirits high with Hakas hasn't worked, so let's try taking some extreme action and rocking the boat a little. The saddest part is that 'extreme' action could just be dropping players who are past their best for the young and hungry. That shouldn't be extreme, it's so obvious...and yet Martin, Adomah and Johansen play on.
**** as they are I think we need the old heads to have any chance. Dozzell looked like he was going to cry for most of the second half.
No excuses now. Only a few short of having the full contingent. I’m afraid it hasn’t made any difference. The loss in form has been dramatic.
Glad I did not have to suffer this in live time. We went for a fantastic early morning swim (9:30am - just got the last available free parking spot!) at Ocean Inlet Park Beach, near Boynton Beach on A1A. Then a lovely brunch/lunch with a delightful couple, then home to this ****. At first glance another early goal conceded, then two late goals conceded as we were probably trying to get back into the game. At least I had a great day!
Didn't watch the game. Had no interest in it due to the way we set up. It's not football, it's total amateur stuff.
What to do Bob? We're cursed as QPR supporters.I gave up and went for a walk with the long suffering dog
Here’s a positive. I sat next to a very nice Cov fan on the train home who assured me that we weren’t in the three worst teams he’s seen this year. But that’s not the positive, it’s that, given what Cov have been through over the last decade or more, that fact that they are on the way back, even without their own stadium, shows there is hope whatever happens in the short term.
We’re all merely dots in the great scheme of the history of life and relatively soon we and eventually Earth will be dead.
I feel beaten into a kind of submissive state where I now just expect us to lose every time...I don't know the answer apart from years of therapy maybe
