I’m starting to think multi multi millionaire Rishi might not be doing the job in the interests of the people who didn’t elect him. But Labour.
They're all at it, it's just a matter of levels... Leaked video shows Sturgeon dismiss finance concerns Share A leaked video has emerged apparently showing former SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon playing down worries about the party's finances. The footage, published by the Sunday Mail, is said to be from a virtual meeting of the party's ruling body, recorded in March 2021. Ms Sturgeon told National Executive Committee (NEC) members the party's finances had never been stronger. She also warned of the impact on donors of going public with concerns. A pro-independence activist is said to have raised concern that nearly £667,000 of funds raised for a future independence campaign may have been used for other purposes. In June of that year, the party's former chief executive Peter Murrell - who is married to Ms Sturgeon - loaned the party £107,620 to help it out with "cash flow" problems. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-65293006
Where does a bloke who has been a party official for most of his working life find a spare £100k to loan to his employer? It’s another cesspit.
Now the Scottish trade unions want control over inheritance tax (IHT) to be devolved in order to "hammer the rich." In Scotland "the rich" includes anyone earning over £43k and thus paying higher rate tax. UK IHT is already absurdly high compared to other countries. A thread: please log in to view this image 6
SNP treasurer arrested now. What are the rules on calling elections in Scotland? Are they fixed term only? Although we should not prejudge before trials etc etc **** that I’m going to anyway, what a corrupt bunch of ****ers. The decent thing would be to give the electorate the chance to kick them out as soon as possible. Surely the Greens have to walk out of their coalition and with the other parties vote no confidence?
